    Report on torture and murder of priests in Russia-occupied parts of Ukraine to be presented in the Hague

    A report containing accounts of religious harassment in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions will be submitted to the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in the Hague by a Ukrainian NGO, Truth Hound, UNN reports.

    Russia responsible for oppression of religious freedom in occupied Crimea and Donbass, states Resolution

    The complete de-occupation of the Ukrainian territories of Crimea and Donbass will stop the brutal persecution of believers from different confessions inspired by Russian occupation authorities, and restore religious freedom. The participants of the Round Table on Religious Freedom in Ukraine stated it in the Resolution released on May 14, 2019 in the press center of the UMCM in Kyiv, the Institute for Religious Freedom reports.

    Russian law enforecement in Crimea search mosque, house of imam

    Russian security forces conducted a search on April 15 in a mosque in the village of Shturmove in the city of Sevastopol. After "investigative measures” they went to the house of the imam of the mosque, Rustem Abilev. Russian mass media are working on site. This is reported by Crimean Solidarity, according to KTRC.

    Occupation authorities of Crimea to take OCU to court

    The Russian authorities in Crimea filed a lawsuit with the requirement to vacate the building in the center of Simferopol, which is now held by the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU). The Minister of Land and Property Relations of Crimea, Anna Aniukhina, told the Russian news agency TASS that the OCU failed to re-register the necessary documents and “is out of the legal framework”, Krym.Realii report.

    Occupiers seize only church belonging to OCU in Simferopol

    Russian law-enforcement in Crimea search members of Jehovah's Witnesses that is banned in Russia

    The searches were conducted from 7:00 in the morning in the houses of seven Crimea residents in Yalta, Hurzuf, and other settlements.     OCU Primate calls on international community to protect churches and clergy of OCU in occupied Donbas

    The international community must get to know that the situation with human rights in terms of freedom of religion in the occupied territories in Eastern Ukraine should not be ignored.
