Flight check-in

Ticket and baggage check-in for domestic and international flights at the airport “Kharkiv” is executed in the area accessible for the public on the first floor of terminal A. For most international flights check-in starts 3 hours prior to the departure and ends 40 minutes before it.

Check-in for domestic flights starts 2 hours prior to the departure and ends 30 minutes before it.

Please note that check-in for some flights can end 1 hour before the departure. Please refer to your airline company, which operates the flight, for more detailed information about the exact start and end time of check-in.

At the check-in desk you will be given boarding pass with a seat number, dimensions and weight of your hand luggage will be checked according to the regulations established by the airline company.

Online check-in

Please note that some airline companies allow you to do check-in online for flights, which depart from the airport “Kharkiv”. Prior to online check-in on the website of the airline company, you can select a seat and print boarding pass before arriving at the airport.

In case you are unable to print boarding pass yourself, you can do it at the check-in desk at the airport.

If you have done online flight check-in, printed boarding pass before arriving at the airport and travel only with hand luggage, you can go straight to the security control bypassing check-in desks.

Please pay attention, from October 01, 2017 Ukrainian International Airlines will charge from passengers of regular domestic and international flights en equivalent of 10 euro for a boarding pass issued at the check-in desk in Kharkiv Airport. In order to avoid paying such fee, it is necessary to register online on UIA website and print your boarding pass provided by the system or save it in your mobile device.

Pegasus Airlines – 72 hours prior to the departure – proceed to online check-in

Wizz Air – 30 days prior to the departure if a passenger purchased a seat during booking. In case you have not purchased any seats, check-in will become available only 48 hours before departure. – proceed to online check-in

Please pay attention, Wizz Air charges passengers who check-in on desks at the airport. The airport check-in fee is up to 30 euro.
