Olena Perepelynska, counsel with Sayenko Kharenko, has been recently elected as Vice-President of the joint Polish-Ukrainian Chapter of the Spanish Arbitration Club (Club Español del Arbitraje (CEA), an arbitration association based in Madrid, Spain, that brings together more than 700 international arbitration experts having a good command of Spanish or Portuguese languages from 32 countries.
The Chapter is aimed at establishing relationships with other international chapters of the CEA as well as with other arbitral institutions, including in Ukraine and Poland. It will organize arbitration events in the region and carry out other activities to promote goals of the CEA.
CEA is not an arbitration institute; it promotes arbitration in the Spanish or Portuguese languages generally and offers assistance to the reputable arbitration institutes from primarily the Ibero-American region and arbitration institutes from other regions around the world that administer arbitration in such languages.
Cohesively and proactively the members of the organization promote the continuing legal education of its membership in the area of international arbitration. CEA prides itself on its continuous publication of the Spanish Arbitration Review covering timely and relevant topics within the world of international arbitration.
Olena has been recommended among leading arbitration practitioners in Ukraine by The International Who’s Who of Commercial Arbitration 2013, Ukrainian Law Firms 2014 and Best Lawyers International 2014; and among leading dispute resolution practitioners in Ukraine by Chambers Global 2014 and Chambers Europe 2014.
