Olena Perepelynska spoke at the “Current trends in arbitration laws and rules” conference in Warsaw

Olena Perepelynska, counsel with Sayenko Kharenko, spoke at the “Current trends in arbitration laws and rules” conference, held in Warsaw and hosted by the Centre for Dispute Resolution at the Faculty of Law of the University of Warsaw.
The prominent conference speakers from Austria, Belgium, France, Poland, Romania, Russia, Switzerland and Ukraine discussed the most current trends and international standards in arbitration regulations, including the adoption of new rules by several arbitration institutions, their impact on the arbitration practice, the reaction of the arbitration institutions to the current changes and many others.
In her speech, Olena Perepelynska mostly addressed the problems to be sold in Ukrainian arbitration law, in particular: arbitrability, enforcement of arbitration agreements by state courts, state court assistance to arbitration, effective court control over arbitral awards and compliance with and enforcement of arbitral awards. In her presentation, Olena not only identified problems but also suggested solutions thereto.
Olena has been recommended among leading arbitration practitioners in Ukraine by The International Who’s Who of Commercial Arbitration 2013 and Ukrainian Law Firms 2013; and among leading dispute resolution practitioners in Ukraine by Chambers Global 2013.
