REPORT ON THE RESULTS OF
INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR OIL&GASEXPO '2016

On November 8-10, 2016 at the International Exhibition Center, the largest Ukrainian Expocenter, the International Trade Fair "OIL&GASEXPO '2016" was held.
The organizer is the International Exhibition Center, by support of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine.

The event has passed within the frames of the XІV International Forum "Fuel and Energy Complex of Ukraine: the Present and the Future" together with the XІV International Trade Fair "Power Engineering for Industry '2016" and the International Trade Fair for Mining Industry "MINING INDUSTRY EXPO '2016" on the common area about 5.5 thousand sq.m. Such a format of the trade fair offered participants and visitors the unique opportunity comprehensively on the same platform to present technologies, equipment and products to the great number of specialists, as well as to discuss the ways of reforming of the interrelated industries.

On November 8 on the occasion of the opening of the XІV International Forum "Fuel and Energy Complex of Ukraine: the Present and the Future" and the International trade fairs "Power Engineering for Industry '2016", "OIL&GASEXPO '2016" and "MINING INDUSTRY EXPO '2016" the First Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Galina Carp, the advisor to the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Sergey Cech, the first vice president of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Sergey Prokhorov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Macedonia Stole Zmejkoski, CEO of IEC Anatoliy Tkachenko as well as the representatives of the Diplomatic corps and the Verkhovna Rada and the other honorary guests took part. In her speech, Galina Carp noted that "aspiration to become the energy independent country compels us to reforming the sector, attracting investments, opening the new business area, implementation of new technologies and improving the efficiency of enterprises". She also emphasized that organizing the Forum the Ministry carries out professional contribution to the economic strengthening of energy security and the state security on the whole.

47 companies, including 3 foreign enterprises from Belarus, Czech Republic and Poland, took part at the International Trade Fair "OIL&GASEXPO '2016". The event has become the most effective business platform for meeting of extracting and operating oil and gas companies with the leading service organizations, producers and suppliers of equipment and technologies for the industry.

Within the frames of the trade fair the companies Burova Technika LLC, Ukrnaftagazservis Ltd, Fidmash CJSC, Geosynthesis Engineering LLC, Plant of Weighting PJSC presented the equipment and services for work on the construction and capital repairs of oil and gas wells, in its turn Kharkiv Plant of Transport Machinery PJSC demonstrated the drilling rig UPA-80, which allows to perform such work. The company German Tools Inspection LTD acquainted with the services of non-destructive testing of the process equipment for facilities of the oil and gas industry.

Compressor stations, gas compressor and gas turbine units, unique types of chemical equipment, centrifuges, pumps, pneumatic and heat transfer equipment, hydraulic tools and many other products were offered to the visitors by the largest domestic enterprises - Sumy NPO PJSC, Nasosenergomash Sumy JSC, Severodonetsk Plant of Chemical and Unstandartized Equipment LLC, DET-UA LLC, KHEMZ-IPEC PRJSC, Orma-Olimp Ltd, Industrial - Service LLC, OPEKS Energysystems, Validus RPC LLC that also presented the novelty – portable welding generators MAGIC WELD and MAGIC WELD 200 of TM MOSA (Italy) with the unique characteristics and functionality.

The stands of Konotop Valves Plant PJS, Kyiv Central Design Bureau of Valves PJSC, Contact LLC, Techprilad Engineering LLC, VT Veres Kft, Artezia PLE were interesting and rich of valves and equipment for industrial piping systems samples. Also the company "Eco-Flex" acquaint visitors with stainless steel hoses and industrial metal hoses for gas supply of its own production.

Radmirtech JV, Orion Scientific Industrial Enterprise, SP Ukrprompostavka LLC, UAM Scientific and Production Enterprise LLC presented complex diagnostic, measuring equipment, automation systems for the oil and gas industry, Eximkargotrade Ltd offered to the visitors metrological and chemical laboratory equipment for petrol stations, oil depots and enterprises of petrochemical industry.

Scientific and research potential of the sector was presented by Poltava National Technical Yuri Kondratyuk University, Ivano - Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Scientific - Research Institute of Oil and Gas Industry SE of Naftogaz of Ukraine and Institute for Information Recording of NAS of Ukraine.

Nova Kakhovka Electromechanical Plant Ltd, Plant of Large Electrical Machines Ltd, Lapp Ukraine LLC, Vatra Corporation, WM Ukraine LLC and others presented power equipment, cable and lighting products for the oil and gas industry.

During the working days of the trade fair more than 4500 specialists - representatives of enterprises of the fuel and energy complex and other sectors of industrial production were registered.

At the same time in other pavilions of the IEC with the area of almost 16 000 sq.m. the exhibitions "Energy Efficiency. Renewable Energy '2016", "AQUA UKRAINE '2016", "Industrial Ecology '2016", "CommunTech '2016", "ROADTECHEXPO '2016" and "EuroBuildExpo '2016" were held. Simultaneous carrying out of the complex of the exhibitions by related industries has greatly expanded the horizons of industrial products review and led to the significant increase of the number of visitors - more than 12 000 experts. Among them are mostly heads and highly qualified specialists of companies, they were aimed at not only looking through the exhibits, but also to find specific technologies and equipment for their production, to hold preliminary negotiations on purchasing the products. Exhibitors noted abundance and quality of visitors and the effectiveness of business contacts.

BUSINESS PROGRAM

The I Kyiv Conference "DRILLING. WELL STIMULATION. ECOLOGY AND LABOR PROTECTION" was held on November 8.
The organizers – the Oil and Gas Consulting Center Newfolk LLC, Association of drillers of Ukraine, supported by the International Exhibition Center.
The event acquainted participants with the prospects of drilling and well stimulation in 2017, modern risks, environmental problems arising at the time of wells development and the newest ways of their solving. Among the main speakers of the conference: the heads of Ukrgasdobycha PJSC, Belorusneft, Tacrom Services, Burovaya Tekhnika LLC, Schlumberger Services Ukraine LLC and NOV-Fidmash.

On November 9 in the Forum business program:
The National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine held the roundtable "IMPLEMENTATION OF ACCOUNTING OF NATURAL GAS IN ENERGY UNITS IN UKRAINE".
During the event the issues on implementation in Ukraine of new regulations on natural gas accounting, harmonized with EU regulations and introduction of payments for natural gas given its energy were discussed.

Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine held the Sectoral Section on Oil and Gas Industry "PROBLEMS, SOLUTIONS, PROSPECTS". Within the event the issues on safety at the oil and gas facilities were considered.

About 400 domestic and foreign professionals were attended the business program.
