Expositions
May 5, 2017, National Art Museum of Ukraine will present the exhibition "Lviv: Allies" organizes by young curators Stanislav Silantyev and Galina Khorunzha,… For additional information, please dial the number: Programs of the MuseumDear friends of our museum! When developing various educational programs, we first of all think of how different our visitors are in terms of their age, profession, likings and talents. Perhaps you come to find out something interesting from the history of Ukrainian culture, perhaps you want to penetrate into the world of images and experience aesthetic pleasure, perhaps you just need to relax or communicate with similarly minded people. Independently of how old you are, the museum can offer something for you. In Ukrainian, the museum education department sounds as the department for museum “enlightenment.” The very word “enlightenment” is certainly symbolic: it is associated with the light in the end of a tunnel or a lighthouse in a stormy sea of everyday life. Our aim is not only to be experts in the field of art; we also hope to understand you and to lit your communication with the works exhibited. Therefore, we have created three types of educational programs. Traditional guided tours and lecture series in history and theory of art will be of interest to those who aspire to new knowledge and who see the museum as a deep resource of information. The innovational program „Visual Thinking Strategies” and the club „Art as a Space for Communication” are addressed to those who are used to trust themselves and who want to grasp everything with their own mind. Finally, we not only think about art, but also create it with our own hands, so we invite you to the Art Workshop for children and adults. |
