Ilyashev & Partners advised Epicentr

Ilyashev & Partners represented the interests of the nation-wide DIY hypermarket network Epicentr K in the revision of safeguard measures concerning the import to Ukraine of china tableware and flatware regardless of manufacturing and export country.

Earlier, the Interagency International Trade Committee made a decision on 4 April 2014, on the safeguard measure to be implemented for the term of three years in the form of safeguard duty. This tariff amounts to:

– from the date of safeguard measures application – 35.6%

– in 12 months from the date of their application –  32%

– in 24 months from the date of their application – 28.8%.

 In the end of 2016 Druzhkovsky Porcelain Plant initiated the revision of safeguard duty aimed at its application extension.
