ReportREPORT ON THE RESULTS OF
XV INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRIAL FORUM
(22 – 25.11.2016, Kyiv, IEC)
The XV anniversary International Industrial Forum took place on November 22nd to 25th in the territory of International Exhibition Centre. Since 2005 International Industrial Forum has been included into the list of events officially certified and approved by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). Every year Forum confirms its status of the most significant exhibition in Ukraine in the domain of metal processing and machine-building.
The organizer of the event – International Exhibition Centre Ltd. – expresses many thanks to the firms and factories participating in the International Industrial Forum for many years. It’s a great pleasure that the regular number of exhibitors remains the same for more than ten years.
321 companies from 28 world countries took part in the International Industrial Forum – 2016. Total exposition space made up 13 000 sq.m, the number of professional visitors was 9 207.
Ukrainian machine-building industry was worthily represented by the largest domestic enterprises and new products and technologies at their booths.
Novelties of 2016: CNC processing centre Sinumerik 840 D MC665-2-Sin840, high precision surface grinding machine with cross table and horizontal spindle LТ6-201 at the exposition of MOTOR SICH company attracted great attention of professionals.
Energomach Sumy Plant demonstrated twin-pillar automatic bandsaw machine of SLP-8535 series.
The flagship enterprise of Ukrainian laser machinery production, ARAMIS company (Cherkasy) presented laser cutting machine AFX with extremely high productivity and advanced standards of processing.
Private Research & Production Company "Microtech" (Kharkiv) produces and exports to the EU calibrated sliding caliper rulers, patented in the US, the most precision in the world, which 6 times outclass those of DIN862 standard.
Unceasing interest of visitors was attracted to "UkrWelding" specialized exhibition.
Kramatorsk Autogenous Welding Equipment Plant "Donmet" displayed the new products of this season – a series of special gearboxes for gas pressure reduction and regulation.
Sumy-Electrode Plant presented welding electrodes of ОЗЖН-1 series, engineered for welding, weld facing and casting patchwork of gray and high-strength cast iron. It’s a worthy analogue of UTP-86 F electrodes.
Group of companies "Stal Service Centre" presented CNC thermal cutting machine Astrum Stinger 1530H, designed for use at small-scale production entities with short-batch and individual manufacture, for high quality and precision cutting of various configurations of items.
Within "Hydraulics. Pneumatics" and "Bearings" specialized exhibitions the booth of "Zelko Group", a Ukrainian manufacturer of air compressor equipment, was interesting and attractive. The company displayed compressors with a build-in drier of refrigerator type. "Zelko Group" is the first producer in Ukraine to master the manufacture of this kind of product and to launch the series ZelkoAIR, models ZELKO5-ZELKO22. Such a configuration is the advanced solution for both the domestic market of Ukraine, as well as among European manufacturers.
This year ECO-FLEX company (Kharkiv) broadened the range of "made-in-Ukraine" products. Major diameter metal hoses as well as braid-covered metal hoses with welded flanged ends were presented at the exposition.
"Krankomplekt" Plant (Zaporizhzhya), a constant participant of "Hoisting and Transporting, Storehouse Equipment" exhibition, broadened its product line in 2016 and brought some novelties – magnet control systems for portal, bridge and gantry cranes and also brand new handling devices.
In general, comparing the quality of Ukrainian enterprises’ expositions of this year and 2014-2015, we can say confidently that some way out of the crisis in domestic machine-building industry has been outlined and certain moderately optimistic expectations may be put on the next year.
The largest international machine-building brands presented their innovative projects and new machinery at the International Industrial Forum.
Traditionally the work was humming along at the booths of SE Abplanalp Ukraine, Binzel Ukraine GmbH, Camozzi Ltd., Empire of Metals Research&Production company, Fanuc Ukraine Ltd., SE Festo, Fronius Ukraine Ltd., Galika AG, Galpidshypnyk Trading House, Irbis Trading House, Knuth Ukraine Ltd., MachEnTech Ltd., Power Belt Ltd., Robert Bosch Ltd., Sammit Ltd., Sew‑Eurodrive Ltd., SE Siemens Ukraine, Stankoinstrumentimport Ltd., JV Stan‑Komplekt, SPA Stankopromimport, Sfera‑Techno Ltd., TL TECHNOLOGY AG, Triada Ltd&Co, Toolpress‑Techno Ltd., VariUs Engineering&Technical Centre, ZCC CUTTING TOOLS EUROPE GmbH and other companies.
List of participants
Beside the main exposition, during three days within the exhibition scientific and technical conferences, seminars and presentations have been taking place. Visitors were really interested in attending the 8th National Scientific and Technical Conference "Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics", organized by Ukrainian Society for Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics, E.O. Paton Electric Welding Institute, International Committee for Non-destructive Testing, European Federation for Non-destructive Testing and International Society for Condition Monitoring. Engineering company "Technopolice" organized a specialized seminar on current issues of improving the efficiency and competitiveness of machine - building enterprises in present-day economic situation by the use of advanced achievements in the domain of engineering information technologies.
