Valentyna Tkach

An ancestral weaver from Bohuslav in Kiev region weaves carpets, runners, decorative pictures and chair covers in the national style. She teaches children this art and craft. The artist has founded a club of decorative weaving in Boguslav.

Creative work

On an old loom the artist weaves carpets from woolen threads of all the rainbow colors. They match any color shades of modern interiors. Valentyna’s carpets and runners being of different ornaments, sizes and woven from threads of different thickness reflect the whole tradition of such an ancient folk craft as weaving.
