Media accreditation for the XIV International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival Docudays UA (March 24 – 31, 2017) is closed.

The accreditation is available only for the employees of officially registered mass media (printed press, radio and television, news and analytical online resources). The press-service of the festival will provide accreditations to freelance journalists, basing on previous experience of cooperation or review of his/her publications.

After the closing of the festival, the journalist must, by the press-service request, provide links to the publications or any other confirmation that the material about the festival was published. The festival press-service is entitled to deny accreditation without further explanations of its decision.

The festival badge PRESS is the property of the accredited journalist and cannot be transferred to a third party. The organizers retain the right to cancel the accreditation in case of the badge transfer.

XIV International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival Docudays UA will take place in Kyiv on March 24-31 at the Cinema House (vul. Saksaganskogo, 6) and at “Kyiv” (vul. Velyka Vasylkivska, 19) and “Kinopanorama” (vul. Shota Rustaveli, 19) cinemas.

You can receive the festival press package and accreditaion PRESS badge at “ACCREDITATION” desk in the hall on the 2nd floor of the Cinema House:

This year the admission to the opening and closing ceremonies of the festival is by invitation only.

About the tickets

A free ticket for evening screenings can be taken by the PRESS badge. A ticket can be acquired on the screening day and on the day before the screening at the festival desks. Please take your seats in the hall 10 minutes before the screening begins. In case you are late, the festival employees have the right not to let you in.

The amount of tickets for press is limited for the following programs: DOCU/HITS, MASTERS, 4 DEGREES. Please be aware that it’s better to acquire tickets for the most popular screenings in advance.

You don’t need to take tickets for screenings that begin before 15:00. The festival program sheet has entrance information on every festival event. If you have any questions about it, you can ask festival press service volunteers. They will work in the hall on the 2nd floor of the Cinema House (the desk where you will receive your festival package) during the festival.

Lounge zone and video library

The festival has a lounge zone (3d floor of the Cinema House), equipped for interviews and comportable work of the press.

You will have the opportunity to watch the competition program at our video library, open on March 25-29 from 10:00 to 18:00. The video library is located on the 1st floor of the Cinema house near the White living room.

Docudays UA shooting rules

Photo- and video- shooting is allowed at the opening and closing ceremonies during official introduction and no more than 10 minutes during the screening. Photo- and video- shooting at the rest of the festival screenings is prohibited.

Photo- and video- shooting is allowed at DOCU/CLASS events for no more than 5 minutes.

Shooting at the LIVING LIBRARY is allowed only with consent of the project participants.

Any photo- and video- shooting should be agreed with the festival press service in advance.
