Molodist starts new section of the Instagram shorts competition: Shoot&Play I Feel Kyiv

Kyiv is an extraordinary and diverse city. Some people know it very well, for others its full of surprises, it’s a business megapolis and city of quite parks and squares at the same time. People wake up here to achieve their dreams and watch sunsets before crazy parties. Every person feels Kyiv their own way. That’s why Molodist KIFF together with Kyiv City State Administration’s tourism decided to start a new section within festival contest Shoot&Play called I Feel Kyiv. We want to feel your Kyiv. 

Shoot&Play I Feel Kyiv competition terms:

• participation is open to all users of social networks Instagram and Facebook, without age restrictions;
• according to Instagram restrictions, the duration of any video cannot exceed 1 (one) minute, shall be a free interpretation of the headline subject I Feel Kyiv;
• the video can be made without restrictions in tools or equipment, and needs to be uploaded to the Instagram account of the author, with a mandatory share to their Facebook account, and is to be accompanied with a text that includes the following hashtags: #molodist46, #molodosti_ gram, #youth_gram, #ifeelkyiv, and is also to tag the Molodist Instagram account (@molodist_fest);
• each participant is obliged to fill out a submission form;
• the video file is to be uploaded to any file exchange website, and the link sent via the submission form;
• each participant can submit 1 (one) work over the duration of the contest.

The winning film will be screened at the closing of Molodist KIFF October 29 and before Molodist-46 screenings.

Please submit your work not later than on October 22, 12:00. The best video and winner of the special prize will be decided by our jury.  The jury members are:

• Anton Taranenko, head of Kyiv City State Administration’s tourism;
• Olena Morentsova, author and host of radio series “Forgotten stories of the great city” (Radio Vesti); 
• Arseniy Finberg, founder of the community “Interesting Kyiv”;
• Kateryna Gornostai, director, National competition winner at the 45 th Molodist KIFF;
• Bohdan Zhuk, program coordinator of Molodist KIFF, curator of the Shoot&Play contest.

The winner will be awarded at the opening ceremony of the 46th Kyiv International Film Festival Molodist on October 29nd, 2016. The winning film will be screened at the closing of Molodist KIFF, before Molodist-46 screenings and on television.
