New domain request (also refered as query) template
Subject: [MNTNR-MNT-INUA] ADD domain.in.ua
domain: domain.in.ua
descr: Description of the domain
descr: Multiline mandatory field
admin-c: ADMIN-UANIC
tech-c: TECH1-UANIC
tech-c: TECH2-UANIC
nserver: ns.domain.in.ua 123.123.123.123
nserver: ns.tsua.net
mnt-by: REGISTRAR-MNT-INUA
mnt-lower: MNTNR-MNT-INUA
remark: Other info, multiline optional field
remark: any info
changed: hostmaster@registrar.com.ua 20040705
source: INUA
password: passw0rd
If you register a domain without dealer's assistance the "mnt-lower"
coincides with the "mnt-by",
you may not fill the "mnt-lower"
record, it will be filled in automatically.
The "MODIFY"
query is almost the same as "ADD"
query. The "MODIFY" section must be present in the end of the query, though. The section begins with the line #[MODIFY SECTION]
and ends with the line #[END]
.
Between these lines the elucidative information concerning the domain transfer (or any other changes) is located.
The "MODIFY"
requests are handled automatically, like "ADD"
request. The requests containing only technical information changes are processed immediately. The request for "admin-c" change will be satisfied after the previous "admin-c" expresses its agreement (special approval request containing the "approval ticket" will be sent to the previous "admin-c").
When changing domain's "mnt-by"
or "mnt-lower"
(such is request for domain transfer from one registrar to another) the approval request will be sent to the previous maintainer.
All the approval requests contain so called "ticket" that is a cryptographically generated unique symbol set. It's used for authenticity establishing for answers to approval requests.

Prolong domain registration (RENEW) template
Subject: [MNTNR-MNT-INUA] RENEW +N
mnt-by: REGISTRAR-MNT-INUA
mnt-lower: MNTNR-MNT-INUA
domain: domain1.in.ua
domain: domain2.in.ua +2
domain: domain3.in.ua +1
.....
.....
domain: lastdomain.in.ua
password: passw0rd
The +N value in the subject is mandatory and set defaul renew period (in years).
Must be either +1 or +2 otherwise query processing script will ignore it and set it
to +1 and such action are reported in script response.
The set of domain:
records in one query can contain an explanatory
value of renew period after the domain name, which overlaps the default value for this domain.
Last record of query should be password:
authorization record.
The query shouldn't contain any other records (in fact, we doesn't need them - other
domain info doesn't change on RENEW
, instead we get an opportunity to
process many domains in one query).
If mnt-by
and mnt-lower
records are the same, the mnt-lower
aren't mandatory.
Script reports processing results on a per-domain basis, domains not renewed by errors are
reported also in separate list.
CANCEL query template
Subject: [REG-MNT-INUA] CANCEL ticket
domain: domainname.in.ua
password: your_password
ticket
- is the ticket
assigned by system when queueing query.
Will be accepted and processed in case of mnt-by
of object domainname.in.ua
matches REG-MNT-INUA
and domain have temporary status subcode CANCEL-OK-UNTIL
. (Those are domains registered with the query from dealer's handle -MNT-INUA)
Query will rollback ADD and RENEW operations.
Such ADD and RENEW operations which was rolled back by CANCEL query aren't paid by.
