Foundation History


The company "BTU-Center" (Ukraine Biotechnology) was created in 1999 in order to implement the accumulated scientific and technological potential.

The company heads by director Bolohovskyy Victor and Director of Development and Prospects, Ph.D., winner of the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology Bolohovska Valentyna.

Employees of the company are highly skilled specialists: engineers technologists, microbiologists, biochemists, mechanics. There are two winners of the State Prize of Ukraine in 2001 in the field of science and technology among them.

High professionalism allows to lead research, experimental, industrial works in the field of biotechnology and microbiological synthesis of new forms of promising biological products for the purposes of: 

  •  agriculture;
  •  heating oil industry;
  •  food industry;
  •  pulp and paper industry;
  •  medicine.

As a result of fruitful cooperation over 130 research works were conducted , 15 master's theses, 3 doctoral dissertations and 48 patents were received.

It was commissioned the production of packaging products line for the private sector in 2007. A sales department was promoted wich contain consulting and information support for its application.

Manufacturing and Laboratory Facilities

Manufacturing facilities of the company allow to produce existing and to create new high quality biological products. The current production capacity arranges over 2,500 tons per year.



 

 

 

 


Scientific research work and production

The company has accredited laboratory where high qualified specialists work. There are microbiologists, biochemists, chemists, technicians among them.

Through the efforts of the group we always perform experimental and research work in the areas of:

  • Optimization of microbial biosynthesis (selection of optimal parameters driving the fermentation process);
  • Improving the technological scheme of production
  • Development and implementation of new product forms of biological products, produced by "BTU-Center".
