Pete Carroll
Executive VP of Football Operations & Head Coach

Named head coach on January 11, 2010, Pete Carroll became the eighth head coach in Seahawks history after one of the most successful runs in USC history in the college ranks.

Darrell Bevell
Offensive Coordinator

Named offensive coordinator on January 20, 2011, Darrell Bevell enters his fifth season leading Seattle’s offense after spending five seasons (2006-10) as the Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator.

Kris Richard
Defensive Coordinator

Richard begins his tenth season in the NFL, ninth overall in Seattle and sixth in the NFL coaching ranks, all with the Seahawks. He spent three seasons with the Seahawks and one season with the San Francisco 49ers (2005) as a cornerback.

Michael Barrow
Linebackers Coach

Hired to the Seahawks staff on February 9, 2015, Barrow enters the NFL coaching ranks after spending seven years at the University of Miami (2007-13) following a 13-year NFL career as a linebacker.

Dwaine Board
Defensive Line

Hired on March 25, 2015, Board returns to the Seahawks where he spent six seasons (2003-08) as defensive line coach, helping the team rank second in the NFL with 136 sacks from 2005-07 and totaling an NFL-leading 50 sacks during Seattle’s Super Bowl XL run in 2005.

Tom Cable
Assistant Head Coach/Offensive Line

Cable joined the Seahawks staff on January 18, 2011, after spending four years with the Oakland Raiders, serving the last two-plus years as head coach.

Dave Canales
Wide Receivers

Named to Seattle’s coaching staff on February 4, 2010, Canales entered the NFL after one season as USC’s offensive administrative assistant in 2009.

Chris Carlisle
Head Strength & Conditioning

After nine years as USC’s head strength and conditioning coach, Carlisle joined Seattle in the same capacity on February 4, 2010.

 

Brennan Carroll
Assistant Offensive Line Coach

Named to the Seahawks staff on February 9, 2015, Brennan Carroll joins an NFL staff for the first time in his career after spending 13 years in the college ranks.

Nate Carroll
Assistant Wide Receivers Coach

Named to the Seahawks staff on July 26, 2010, Nate Carroll moved in to the coaching ranks in 2011 after spending the 2010 season as a personnel assistant in the scouting department.

Andre Curtis
Defensive Backs

Hired by the Seahawks on March 25, 2015, Curtis joins his fourth NFL team after spending the last three seasons (2012-14) with the New Orleans Saints as assistant secondary coach.

Mondray Gee
Assistant Strength & Conditioning

Hired on February 4, 2010, Mondray Gee enters his 15th year in the NFL, spending the first seven in Detroit and two in Green Bay’s weight room. Recommended to coach Carroll by GM John Schneider, who also worked in Green Bay before joining Seattle.

John Glenn
Defensive Assistant

Hired on February 14, 2012 to be the team’s special teams coaching assistant, Glenn moved to a new role in 2014 as its quality control/ defense coach.

Will Harriger
Assistant Quarterbacks

Will Harriger joined the Seahawks coaching staff as an offensive assistant on May 2, 2014 after spending 10 years coaching collegiately, and this season moves to assistant quarterbacks & quality control/offense responsibilities.

Travis Jones
Defensive Line Coach

Named to his current position on February 13, 2013, Jones joined then-defensive coordinator Dan Quinn’s staff after spending five seasons as assistant defensive line coach for the New Orleans Saints. He began his NFL career with the Miami Dolphins from 2005-07.

Pat McPherson
Tight Ends Coach

Named to his position on February 4, 2010, McPherson joined Seattle after 11 years with the Denver Broncos, most recently serving as their tight ends coach from 2007-08. Before being named to that position, he spent four years (2003-06) as quarterbacks coach for the Broncos and also served as an offensive assistant (1999-2002) and defensive assistant (1998).

Ricky Manning Jr.
Assistant Defensive Backs

Hired on March 29, 2016, former NFL cornerback Ricky Manning, Jr. joins Seattle after three years of collegiate coaching. A Fresno native, he joins the Seahawks after one season at Fresno State and two seasons at Fresno City College (2013-14), and a coaching internship with the Denver Broncos in the summer of 2014.

Chad Morton
Assistant Special Teams / Assistant Running Backs

Hired on March 17, 2014, as assistant special teams coach, Morton joined the Seahawks after spending four seasons in the same role with the Green Bay Packers. In 2015, he will also work with running backs.

Pat Ruel
Assistant Offensive Line

Hired to assist the offensive line on September 6, 2010, Ruel begins his sixth season in Seattle. He joined the Seahawks after coaching five seasons (2005-09) at USC in the same capacity.

Brian Schneider
Special Teams Coordinator

Named to his current position on February 4, 2010, Schneider returned to the NFL after one year at USC.

Rocky Seto
Assistant Head Coach/Defense

Hired on February 4, 2010, in a quality control/ defense role, former USC linebacker Seto joined the NFL coaching ranks after 11 seasons at USC. On January 18, 2011, he was promoted to assist Kris Richard with the defensive backs, with his focus on the safeties group.

Carl Smith
Quarterbacks

Hired on February 1, 2011, Carl Smith reunites with Pete Carroll and brings 24 years of NFL experience to the Seahawks staff, most recently spending two years as the Cleveland Browns quarterbacks coach. It was his second stint with Cleveland after originally joining the club from 2001-03 in the same capacity.

Sherman Smith
Running Backs

An original Seahawk, Smith returns to his NFL roots to continue his NFL coaching career. Hired to coach running backs on February 4, 2010, he returns to Seattle where he played for eight seasons.

Nick Sorensen
Assistant Special Teams / Assistant Defensive Backs

Named to the Seahawks staff as coaching assistant/special teams on February 13, 2013, Sorensen joined the NFL coaching ranks after spending 2012 as a volunteer defensive quality control coach at Youngstown State following his NFL career.

Lofa Tatupu
Assistant Linebackers Coach

Tatupu joins Seattle’s coaching staff after a six-year career (2005-10) with the Seahawks after being drafted by the club in the second-round (45th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft. He started all 84 games played and tallied 551 tackles (412 solo), 8.5 sacks, 10 interceptions, 41 passes defensed, seven forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. 

Jamie Yanchar
Assistant Strength & Conditioning

Hired on February 4, 2010, Yanchar joined the Seahawks after 19 years of service in southern California, working with L.A.’s professional sports teams, including 19 years in USC’s strength program.

Heath Farwell
Coaching Assistant

Hired on August 16, 2016, the 10-year veteran linebacker Farwell returns to the Seahawks where he served as a two-time special teams captain in his four years in Seattle (2011-14).
