International R&D Project Recycling Spent Batteries for Electric Drive Vehicles

That research project was organized by the U.S. Department of Energy (United States Department of Energy (DoE), Argonne National Laboratory, USA, for the development of new technology for recycling spent batteries for electric drive vehicles.

Main objective of that project is to develop and manufacture a number of experimental and new lines of experimental equipment for the developed technology of recycling spent batteries for electric drive vehicles.

 

R&D Project New Materials for Electric Drive Vehicles

That research project was organized by the U.S. Department of Energy (United States Department of Energy (DoE), Argonne National Laboratory, USA, for the development of new new materials for electric drive vehicles (Total duration 24 month).

Main objective of that project is to develop and manufacture a number of experimental and new lines of experimental equipment for the development of technologies and materials for manufacturing of batteries for electric drive vehicles.

 

Publications

Scientific articles, publications, reviews on materials science, strength of materials and modern problems of nanotechnologies.

This publications and articles were  resulted from  international scientific research and development projects, international conferences.


 

Boron Carbide

Manufacturing of ceramic materials with high strength and wear resistance made of boron carbide.

The method for the manufacture of very hard, wear-resistant ceramic samples of boron carbide. This method of manufacturing the ceramic material is hot pressing at 1800-2300 C for 5-60 min. Devices for grinding products in size on the plane grinding machine.

 

Titanium Dioxide ТіО2

Materials Research Centre is actively involved in materials science and nanotechnology research. Namely, in the developing methods of synthesis of titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanopowders, and further investigation of its physical and chemical properties. MRC is researching the crystallinity, particle size, surface area, and other factors determine the functional characteristics and applications of the synthesized TiO2.
