I have a question about one expression in this episode. I'm not sure about "tipping us off to". Is this verb (tipping) like a tip that you give to the waiter at a restaurant?

Of course, all the legends are famous people who stand out in any office or art.
I can also say about two legends of music and they are John Lenonn and Bob Marley , who became famous after passed away . That's all for today nice people. Talk to you again in other occasion, God bless you ! bye bye.....
