On the 31st birthday of Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje, the Tsurphu Labrang celebrated the birthday with child cancer patients at the St. Jude India ChildCare Centres in Noida on June 26, 2016.

The Internal Manager of Tsurphu Labrang, Lama Gyaltsen Sonam distributed packets of assorted expensive dry fruits and games for the children, and gave a donation of 500,000 INR which was received by the head of the center, Mr. Pradeep Puri.

St. Jude India ChildCare Centres is a non-profit organization in India with around 50 branches in big cities that provide free shelter and holistic care to children who are undergoing cancer treatment.

The program was organized by the Kun Kyong Charitable Trust of Karmapa based in Delhi.
