The Open Qualifying Series (OQS) is an international qualifying series involving events on the world’s leading golf tours for The Open Championship.
The OQS offers players the opportunity to qualify for golf’s oldest major championship at events on the PGA TOUR, European Tour, PGA Tour of Australasia and Japan Golf Tour. Players on the PGA TOUR have the chance to qualify at three events: FedEx St. Jude Classic, Quicken Loans National and The Greenbrier Classic.
There are four qualifying places available at the FedEx St. Jude Classic and Quicken Loans National. Places go to the leading four players (not otherwise exempt) who finish in the top 12 and ties. One qualifying places is available at The Greenbrier Classic. The place goes to the leading player (not otherwise exempt) who finishes in the top 5 and ties.
If there are ties for the final spot(s), qualifiers will be determined by Official World Golf Ranking.
