International Projects

Lviv Business School of UCU (LvBS) especially values its international component and each year extends its scope. Today, nearly 50% of the school’s faculty is made up of foriegners who represent such universities as Wharton Business School, Princeton University, Carnegie Mellon, London Kingston, Leiden Univeristy, and others

LvBS has also been visited by groups from the School of Business and Technology (The College of St. Scholastica, MN USA) and St. Thomas University (Minneapolis, USA).  
МВА program participants regularly participate in international study tours in central and/or eastern Europe.

LvBS is a member of the international organizations Ceeman (Central and East European Management  Development Association), BMDA (Baltic Management Development Association), the Association of Catholic Universities, and also a signatory of PRiME.

 

InternationalStudyTour
LvBS invites senior university students as well as participants of MBA and MBA for Executives programs from around the world to come to Lviv and become acquainted with the Eastern European business environment and culture. Our participants will have an opportunity to gain personal experiences in business culture through intense lectures/seminars, meetings with leading business executives and government officials, and visits to companies and institutions >>>


Among LvBS’s achievements in international cooperation are the following:
- In 2013, the Center for Family Business of the Lviv Business School of UCU held an international conference on “Managing a Family Business from One Generation to Another.” Coorganizer of the conference was the company Ernst&Young. The aim of the conference was to discuss effective family business management and the ways of transferring the business to its successors >>>
- In 2010 the Lviv Business School of UCU and the SRB community held a conference “Developing Responsible Leadership in Central and Eastern Europe: How to Create a Critical Mass of Responsible Leaders and Managers in Central and Eastern Europe,” with the support of international organizations: the Association of Management Development CEEMAN and the Academy of Business in Society (EABIS). The publication “Competencies of Responsible Leaders in the Context of Central and Eastern Europe” includes conference materials and results from the discussions that were held during the conference, as well as the results of the study “Developing the Global Leaders of Tomorrow” conducted by LvBS using methodology from Ashridge Business School  >>>
- LvBS in cooperation with the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania, especially with its online journal Knowledge@Wharton, prepared a publication with 15 articles on leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Eastern Europe, Russia, and other countries >>>
