Packers.com, a popular portal for Packers fans and one of the top five visited sites among NFL teams, unveiled on Thursday a refreshed homepage with a new look and updated design.
The new homepage still includes the rotating features in the main centerpiece window, flanked on the right by the latest editions of the popular “Ask Vic” daily column.
The primary changes are below the centerpiece, where there’s now an easy-to-read thumbnail menu of the latest videos on the packers.com, which has by far the most Packers-related video content on the internet, including live-streaming press conferences, locker room interviews and game highlights.
Below that are more news headlines that may have already rotated out of the centerpiece, plus a window highlighting the latest packers.com blog entries. Scroll down further, and a thumbnail menu of the latest photo galleries, plus the Hot Topics window, are also included.
The homepage re-design is intended to give packers.com a cleaner look, with graphics and headlines easier to find. The goal remains to populate the site with the latest news, analysis, videos and photos of the Packers on a daily basis.
