Senior Students from Tonglen Assist Their Communities

Tong-Len Charitable Trust, a non governmental trust which aims to help the slum people in Dharamsala with health, education, and empowerment, was established in 2004 by a Tibetan Monk.
Venerable Lobsang Jamyang la, the founder and head of the institution shares how he got in touch with the slum kids and the foundation of his project 11 years ago.
Tong-Len Charitable trust has helped more than 250 students with education, sheltered around 100 in the hostel, and assisted over 3000 people from three districts in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh with health care.
