Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI)

Lavrynovych & Partners has been a member of the UCCI since 2013. The Firm’s experts advise the UCCI’s members including Ukrainian and international companies on IP protection strategy. The Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a non-government non-profit self-governing organization incorporating on a voluntary basis legal entities and Ukrainian citizens registered as entrepreneurs as well as their associations.

American Chamber of Commerce (ACC)

Lavrynovych & Partners has been a member of the ACC since 2009. The Firm’s lawyers are actively involved in the activities of the chamber’s specialist committees by providing expert support to ACC members in conducting seminars, trainings and round table discussions. The ACC is one of the most active and influential public non-profit organizations among business associations operating in Ukraine. Over the last nineteen years, the Chamber has closely cooperated with Ukraine’s authorities to improve the business environment and attract local and foreign investments into the Ukrainian economy. The Chamber’s goal is to establish fair and transparent rules of doing business in Ukraine.

European Business Association (EBA)

Lavrynovych & Partners is an active member of the EBA. The activity performed by the Firm’s lawyers within the Tax Committee is particularly noteworthy. Workshops conducted by Lavrynovych & Partners lawyers are very popular with members of the Association. The EBA is a leading international business organization in Ukraine which brings together about 900 European, Ukrainian and international companies. The EBA’s key mission is to represent the interests of European and local investors in Ukraine and improve the investment climate.

Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA)

Lavrynovych & Partners has been a member of the UBA since 2004. The Firm’s experts take an active part in forums and conferences organized by the UBA, deliver speeches and participate in the specialist committees’ activities. The Firm’s Managing Partner Maksym Lavrynovych held the position of the UBA Vice President in 2010, and Partner Iryna Marushko was Chairman of the UBA Banking and Finance Law Committee in 2011. The UBA is an All-Ukrainian public organization founded in 2002 to unite lawyers in creating a strong and influential professional community. The main purpose of the Association is to develop legal profession, improve the legislation, introduce ethical standards and protect the professional rights of the UBA members and human rights.

International Fiscal Association (IFA Ukraine)

Lavrynovych & Partners became a member of the Association in 2007. Iryna Marushko, Partner of the Firm, has been a member of the Board of IFA Ukraine since 2008. Traditionally, the company’s lawyers have actively participated in professional events organized by the Association and delivered speeches at its seminars and conferences. IFA Ukraine is the only non-governmental and non-sectoral international organization dealing with international fiscal matters. The International Fiscal Association includes over 10,000 tax experts, tax officers and researchers studying issues related to the taxation of international operations and comparative study of fiscal legislation in more than 100 countries.

International Lawyers Network (ILN)

Lavrynovych & Partners has been a member of the ILN since 2007 and actively participates in the organization’s field-specific events, maintains business relations with other member companies and shares its expertise with them. The Network provides accessible legal services to Lavrynovych & Partners’ Clients in 66 countries on six continents. The ILN includes more than 90 law firms and over 5,000 lawyers all over the world.

British-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (BUCC)

Lavrynovych & Partners has been a member of the BUCC since 2009. The British-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce brings together British and international companies and individuals wishing to focus on the Ukrainian market, and offers assistance to Ukrainian companies and individuals wishing to establish business, commercial and trade relationships in the United Kingdom and around the globe.

Ukrainian Arbitration Association

The Ukrainian Arbitration Association is a non-profit organization, which is not an arbitration institution. The Association intends to cooperate with arbitration institutions and similar professional associations on the development and promotion of international arbitration. The key goals of the Association include the promotion of Ukraine, and Kyiv in particular, as the seat of arbitration, facilitation and support of interest in international arbitration, extension of knowledge and exchange of experience in cross-border dispute resolution, as well as enhancing cooperation and communications among practitioners in international arbitration around the world. Managing Partner of Lavrynovych & Partners Law Firm Maksym Lavrynovych has been elected a Member of the Board of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association.
