3D models of Dhaka, Lagos and Cairo 06 Jun 2014

VISICOM is proud to announce high-quality 3D stereo models of the following cities:

  • Dhaka, Bangladesh
  • Lagos, Nigeria
  • Cairo, Egypt

VISICOM is proud to announce high-quality 3D stereo models of the following cities:

  • Dhaka, Bangladesh
  • Lagos, Nigeria
  • Cairo, Egypt
The production of 3D Models for 3 metropolitan areas was launched in May and is to be fully completed at the end of July 2014.
Total coverage is over 1050 square kilometers of densely built-up areas, quantity of building polygons is 2.9 billion in total, and so far it is the largest project of 3D data update completed by Visicom this year.
 
High-accurate 3D building heights data is obtained using Visicom methods of digital photogrammetry to calculate height values from stereo imagery.
 
The project is fulfilled step-by-step and will be completed at the end of July-2014.

 


Countrywide model of Thailand 25 Mar 2014

VISICOM proceeds with the project of geographic data update for the territory of Southeast Asia region, rapidly economically developing region with growing demand for high-accurate cartographic data, particularly in the fields of telecommunication, municipal management, monitoring of environmental processes and modeling of socioeconomic development.

Within the scope of this project, the Regional Model of Thailand countrywide, including 2D Urban Models of 5 major cities was completed in March-2014.
