    Dniepropetrovsk

800,7 UAH To be collected 17 368 UAH

Sasha Ryabushenko was born in Lugansk on 33rd week of pregnancy and right after was taken to the emergency room due to rhesus conflict. After two blood transfusions the girl was released, and her parents hoped that her health was fine. However, with time the girl was trying to sit or even move. At 8 months a neurologist diagnosed her with cerebral palsy epysyndrome, spastic tetraparesis, mixed form hyperkinetic, delay in psychoverbaldevelopment. In other words, it is a horrible disease that involves uncontrollable movements, while hands and feet don’t work. Now she is 6 years of age, but while playing with play dough, she can only press on it. She is unable to make a figure or even make a ball out of it. While the family was living in Lugansk, there was a possibility to have rehabilitation courses at the rehabilitation center “Zdorovie” in Novoazovsk city. Such helped her to stop using diapers and learn to sit on her own, speak in sentences, remember poems, know colors, and read. When the ATO zone action started, the city was captured and the center was taken at well. They gathered all their belongings and fled to Dnepropetrovsk. They had no money to continue treatments. The girl’s future directly depends on the ability to continue strengthening the muscles of her hands and legs. The decision is to buy special training machine “Velodoctor”, which will help the girl to work on strengthening her legs and hands muscle while being at home, which also will help her coordination and focus. This means that there is a chance that Sasha will not spend her entire life in a wheelchair, but will be able to walk.

Project’s mission is to collect 16 480UAH in order to buy “Velodoctor” for the girl

  • Let us put Bogdan on his feet, all together!

    Dniepropetrovsk

    27 января 2015

698,3 UAH To be collected 7 890 UAH

Bogdan has been disabled since childhood, he has got a cerebral palsy, its spastic-hyperkinetic form with strong movement disorders. And for almost 10 years every effort of Bogdan’s parents and relatives has been focused on fighting the disease. Multiple courses of treatment have led to the restoration of speech, normalization of mental development. The child learned how to sit up by himself. But to learn how to walk has become almost impossible because of compulsive movements - hyperkinesis, which are very difficult to extinguish. Only regular exercises can help get rid of them, at least partially. It should be necessary for Bogdan to undergo rehabilitation courses 4-5 times per year in the rehabilitation center of Truskavets. But it may not be affordable for the family to pay 40 thousand hryvnias (UAH) each year. Therefore, this vital treatment gets postponed at every turn, leaving no hope in result. The solution can be an acquisition of a special simulator for kinesitherapy, that would enable Bogdan to undergo physical therapy at home every day, and save money for the family.

The aim of the project is to collect 7.890,00 hryvnias (UAH) for purchasing the physical simulator in order to provide conditions rehabilitation and to give Bogdan a chance to win his fight against the disease.

0,0 UAH To be collected 55 800 UAH

In their past those 45 veterans of the Second World war and Labour of Dnipropetrovs’k region won the victory against fascist invaders, , and it took from them a lot of time and tremendous efforts to revive the city in the after war period. And today, in the age from 84 to 92 years, they stand on the brink of survival. Their beggarly pension (from 1000 to 1200 UAH per month), poor health and solitary lifestyle neither can provide their living wages, nor allow them to care of themselves.

Recently we have got a letter at our Dobrodiy Charity Exchange from the Charity Fund “Veterans” with the “cry” for help.
