ABOUT THE COMPANY

“Arthouse Traffic” was created by a group of like-minded people in 2003.

“Arthouse Traffic” is the first Ukrainian distributor that specializes in distribution of art cinema. For the moment the company has released more than 400 films, Pina by Wim Wenders, Oceans by Jacques Perrin, Zatōichi by Takeshi Kitano, Swimming Pool by François Ozon, The Return by Andrey Zvyagintsev, Oldboy by Park Chan-wook, A Prophet by Jacques Audiard, and Slumdog Millionaire by Danny Boyle among them.

Together with embassies and culture centers of other countries, “Arthouse Traffic” holds a number of annual film festivals – "French Cinema Soirées”, “New British Films Festival”, “New German Films Festival”, “Line of Spanish Cinema”, “Italian Film Week”, “Asia-Cinema”, “Manhattan Short Films Festival”.

Since its foundation, “Arthouse Traffic” sequentially has gone in for creation and promotion of Ukrainian cinema. The company released Mamay by Les Sanin, At the river by Eva Neymann, Guide by Alexander Shapiro. In 2006, “Arthouse Traffic” became a co-producer and distributor of The Pit: How Can You Escape? (Shtolnya), the thriller that was watched by more than 30 000 Ukrainian viewers and sold to 16 foreign countries. In 2010, the company became a co-producer of short films collection F***ers. Arabesques. Its certain films took part in more than 30 international festivals, while film Deafness by Miroslav Slaboshpitsky became a participant of short films competition at the Berlin International Film Festival.

In 2010-2013, “Arthouse Traffic” team was the founder and the co-organizer of the Odessa International Film Festival.

In 2014 company founded Children KinoFest - annual international film festival for children and teenagers.
