POLICY WIN: CMU Liberalized the Lists of Goods Export and Import of Which is Subject to Licensing and Quotas for 2015

The Chamber is glad to inform you that officially published Lists of Goods Export and Import of Which is Subject to Licensing and Quotas for 2015 does not envisage a requirement to obtain letters of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Recourses of Ukraine to proof absence of ozone depleting substances for customs clearance purposes (Annex 4 to the Resolution) and a number of plant protection means (UKTZED 3808 50 00 00, 3808 91, 3808 92, 3808 93, 3808 99) are not subject to licensing procedures anymore. A number of Chamber Tax Committee proposals in regard to PIT, CIT, and VAT were considered in the Law #71-VIII regarding taxation reform which was signed by the President along with Law #77-VIII on reform of the compulsory state social insurance and legalization of wages fund and Law #72-VIII on improvement of tax control over transfer pricing.More details »

Being a party to the Memorandum of Understanding for Ukrainian Anti-Corruption Initiative, the Chamber welcomes the adoption of CMU Resolution #691 “On Council of Business Ombudsman” aimed at creation of the Council of Business Ombudsman as a consultative body under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, as well as at development of the Draft Law establishing the independent institution for Business Ombudsman by March 20, 2015.More details »
