The Chamber Women's Executive Leadership Development Initiative (WELDI) is dedicated to developing the professional skills of senior-level female executives working in the Corporate A Chamber Member companies:
WELDI is an invitation-only program targeted to top-level female talent who are on the leadership level of their company's team. These women have significant experience in the corporate world but can still benefit from additional professional skills development to help them rise to the top of their organization.
WELDI offers selected participants series of professional development opportunities, offered free of charge, on a monthly basis, to hone their leadership skills and increase their personal effectiveness in the workplace.
WELDI Participants:
The WELDI program is offered on an invitation-only basis to a select group of women, nominated by the top official of their organization. Participants are:
- Senior-level females on leadership team of the Chamber's member companies
- 10+ years of professional experience
- Considered "high potential" and "top talent" by their management
- Committed to professional advancement with a strong drive for self-improvement
- Working in any role: HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing...
- English speaking
WELDI Schedule of Events:
WELDI Monthly Professional Development Series: sessions are organized on the first Tuesday of every month and finish with a business networking cocktail to allow more interaction within the WELDI membership. Registration instructions will be sent by email to WELDI participants. All events are offered free of charge to approved WELDI participants, unless otherwise noted. Please note that starting in 2014, WELDI sessions take place on TUESDAYS.

RECENT EVENT: Female Leadership in Times of Turbulence: Crisis and Change Management
Monday, November 3, 4:30PM – 8:00PM
Opera Hotel (53 Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Street, Kyiv)
The event, moderated by Ms. Olena Yuzkova, MIM-Kyiv, became a brilliant opportunity to explore leadership in crisis from 3 different perspectives:
- Of a business trainer and team leader – presented by Ms. Areta Beliakova, Director, Door Ukraine;
- Of a corporate HR leader – presented by Ms. Oksana Semenyuk, HR Business Lead New Markets EE&CA at PJSC “Mondelez Ukraina”;
- And of a psychologist – presented by Ms. Lesya Kovalchuk, Head, Psychological Center “Genius”.
The session was exceptionally interactive, and received the highest rating in 2014 based on the survey filled out by participants – 100 % of the audience evaluated the event as “good” or “very good”.
