Activity

The major purpose of PJSC "Centrenergo" activity is profit making, stable production of electric and thermal energy and achievement of the best industrial and financial performances. The Company's thermal power plants operate in the power regulation mode within the Integrated Power System (IPS) of Ukraine, covering the common power load of the system and at the same time the heat demand of the region. The total installed design capacity of the Company's power plants' units makes 7600 MW that equals 14 % of the generating capacities of Ukraine.

PJSC "Centrenergo" power plants provide thermal energy for heating and hot water supply of the industrial enterprises and household consumers in the towns of Svitlodarsk (Donetsk region), Ukrainka (Kyiv region) and village Komsomolske (Kharkiv region).

PJSC "Centrenergo" thermal power plants have significant wear and tear of the generating capacities. In order to ensure stable operation of the equipment, flexibility range expansion, increase of the installed capacity and power units' efficiency and mitigation of negative environmental impact, it is necessary to implement the equipment modernization and reconstruction program. The power units' reconstruction shall be made with focus on maximum use of domestic coal.

Currently the Company's management assignment is to earn maximum profit due to improvement of the power units' operating modes, optimization of technical and economic parameters, implementation of the equipment quality repairs and reconstruction and as consequence reduction of the electricity cost of production.

Important strategic goals of PJSC "Centrenergo" are trouble-free and cost-effective operation of the generating capacities for supply of the energy market demand and stable provision of fuel resources for the Company's power units. By introducing progressive technologies it is planned to provide all conditions for the further development of the Company's power plants.
