Dallas Cowboys

Coaches Clinic

Less than 24 hours before heading to training camp in Oxnard, California, the Dallas Cowboys coaching staff, including head coach Jason Garrett and owner and general manager Jerry Jones, took time to share their coaching philosophies, techniques and tips with 250 youth league, middle and high school football coaches from the North Texas area and beyond. Coaches came from as far away as Florida and Maine to participate in the 2013 Dallas Cowboys Coaches Clinic, an annual event underwritten by Gene and Jerry Jones Family Charities. The complimentary, one-day seminar held at AT&T Stadium allowed participants to hear presentations from each position coach as well as former Cowboy Tony Casillas on USA Football’s Heads Up Football program and Don Hooten of the Taylor Hooten Foundation on steroid awareness and prevention. The youth coaches also received breakfast, lunch and a gift bag which included Cowboys merchandise, two tickets to a preseason Cowboys game, a USA Football playbook and a free membership code to USAFootball.com.
