    3 men injured in stabbing incident at Paseo Loop

    Three men were injured late Sunday in a stabbing incident by a children's playground at Paseo Loop. Guam Police Department spokesman Officer A.J. Balajadia said officers responded to a disturbance involving eight men. A 911 call was received at 11:37 p.m., according to Guam Fire Department spokesman Lt. Phil Camacho. Camacho said the three men were injured while fighting. One man had an injury to his right arm, Balajadia said.

    Man thought missing was found unharmed

    The wife of a 38-year-old man called 911 Sunday morning after her husband, who was free diving near the Marbo Cave cliffline area in Mangilao, was late in coming home. Rescue crews, including a Navy helicopter, later found the man unharmed. Lt. Phil Camacho of the Guam Fire Department said the 911 call was received at 11:49 a.m. The man was overdue in coming home by at least an hour, Camacho said. The man was found -- still free diving -- around 12:54 p.m.

    GWA asks public's help for info on copper thieves

    The Guam Waterworks Authority is asking the public to report anyone who might have stolen copper wire from the agency. In a statement sent out Monday, Heidi Ballendorf, authority spokeswoman, said GWA was the recent victim of copper wire theft and that the latest theft has cost the agency $20,000 in replacements. The agency is asking anyone who sees people at an agency location who isn't GWA personnel to report it immediately to police or call one of GWA's 24/7 water line numbers.
