THE VISUAL COMPUTING COMPANY
NVIDIA's work in visual computing — the art and science of computer graphics — has led to thousands of patented inventions, breakthrough technologies, deep industry relationships and a globally recognized brand. For two decades, we've pioneered this uniquely powerful medium, which has transformed the PC from a tool for productivity into one for creativity and discovery.
At the core of our company is the GPU — the engine of modern visual computing — which we invented in 1999. One of the most complex processors ever developed, our Kepler™ generation of GPUs boasts 7 billion transistors. The GPU has propelled computer graphics from a feature into an ever-expanding industry — encompassing video games, movie production, product design, medical diagnosis and scientific research, among many other categories. GPUs are now driving new fields like computer vision, image processing, machine learning and augmented reality.

INGENUITY THAT ADVANCES THE INDUSTRY
Our products span the entire spectrum of visual computing — from fundamental inventions, to processors incorporating GPUs, to system components, to fully integrated systems. We target three major vertical markets: gaming; professional visualization; and high performance computing and data centers. For each, we offer a platform of processors, software, tools, marketing, expertise and, increasingly, connected services. We leverage innovations we create for these markets by selling components and licensing IP to leading OEMs who wish to create devices differentiated by rich graphics.
As the world leader in visual computing, we attract the best minds in the field. Their ingenuity advances the industry. Their drive fuels our company. As a result, our brand inspires a rare devotion that is expressed in deeply personal ways — including artwork, tattoos and even fans naming their children “NVIDIA”
GAMING: THE WAY IT'S MEANT TO BE PLAYED
Gaming is our heritage. Our GeForce® platform of processors, software and services fosters the PC gaming market, the world’s largest gaming segment, which is projected to reach $26 billion in 2014. More than 40 million gamers use GeForce Experience™, NVIDIA’s app for next-gen PC gaming, which offers optimized game settings and driver updates, as well as game capture and streaming technologies. SHIELD™, a gaming and entertainment portable, is a catalyst for the burgeoning Android™ gaming market, the fastest growing segment. NVIDIA GRID™ is a breakthrough invention that delivers rich graphics on demand, through the cloud, enabling a “Netflix of gaming.” Across platforms, our GameWorks™ program offers access to some of the world’s most talented visual effects artists, as well as the library of algorithms and tools they’re constantly building.

THE STANDARD FOR PROFESSIONAL VISUALIZATION
In the early 2000s, our invention of a programmable processor expanded NVIDIA’s reach into professional graphics. Today, Quadro® is the industry standard for professional visualization — from mechanical and industrial design, to medical imaging, to digital content creation and film. Since 2009, every film nominated for the “Best Visual Effects” Academy Award was created on Quadro. Quadro powers 80% of the world’s workstations and its suite of tools and algorithms is incorporated into nearly every major design tool in the world. As professional visualization moves to the cloud, NVIDIA GRID technologies serve the growing market for virtualized workstations as well as the growing need for mobile access to graphics assets.

ACCELERATING HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTING & DATA CENTERS
Scientists and researchers around the world use Tesla® GPUs to tackle the most complex challenges, such as modeling the human brain and finding a cure for HIV. We serve them with a robust platform of technologies, tools, libraries and experts at the intersection of computer architecture and algorithms. NVIDA GPUs power many of the world's fastest supercomputers, including Titan at Oak Ridge National Labs, and 15 of the top 15 most energy-efficient supercomputers on the latest Green500 list. NVIDIA is also redefining general-purpose computing by bringing the capabilities of GPUs into the data center. Servers from Cisco, Dell, Fujitsu, Hitachi, HP, IBM and others use NVIDIA GRID technology to virtualize enterprise PCs for mobile workforces and accelerate applications in cutting-edge fields, such as big data analytics and machine learning.

POWERING A WORLD OF DEVICES
Visual computing is more important than ever, with consumer expectation for rich graphics rising amid a massive proliferation of mobile devices. The world's leading OEMs, from Apple to Audi, will build computing devices that incorporate more than 2 billion GPU cores in 2014. NVIDIA creates the world's best GPUs to address this opportunity, either through processors or licensing our IP. Our Tegra® SOCs serve the smart device markets where visual computing matters — from superphones and tablets to auto infotainment and driver assistance systems, to gaming devices. Our latest processor, Tegra® K1, brings the heart of GeForce and the soul of Tesla to mobile. With 192 fully programmable cores, Tegra K1 enables developers to build next-gen games and apps that will run on any device. The automotive-grade Tegra K1 visual computing module will even help self-driving cars advance from the realm of research into the mass market and bring photo-realistic digital cockpits to life.
