Clara Dominguez
Director, Latin America Division
As Director of VOA’s Latin America Division, Clara Dominguez oversees broadcasts to Haiti and the Spanish speaking countries of the Americas over radio, television and Internet. She is also responsible for determining content for affiliate stations as well as developing the Division’s new initiatives.
Prior to joining VOA in 2010, Ms. Dominguez served 5 years as News Director at the Office of Cuba Broadcasting, where she led radio and television news coverage of major events in Latin America and the United States, including presidential elections in both the United States and Latin America.
A native of Havana, Cuba, she is fluent in Spanish.
