The Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Limerick is delighted to announce 1 full scholarship available for the full 4 years duration for the new BTech in Aircraft Maintenance and Operations.

Earn while you study

  • You can work upto 20 hours per week and earn a minimum of 8.65 Euro per hour.
  • You get a 1 year stay back visa option in Ireland where you can seek employment.
  • The four year programme includes extensive on-aircraft practical experience at the large Shannon Aerospace base maintenance facility, including the summer period after semester six. Shannon Aerospace will offer two paid one-year internships to top-performing graduates at the end of the programme.

Job Security

Students who complete this programme are “work Ready” and should get easy access to the aviation Industry. By 2020 there will be in excess of 220,000 (2.2 lakh) newly qualified maintenance persons required worldwide. The EASA Certification at level C practically assures the holder a key position in the industry.

All you need

High school education with good marks in English, Maths & a Science subject.

To meet English language requirements Indian students are required to have an IELTS score of 6.5 with no less than 6 in any component.
