About the company

Lemberg is the ancient name of the city of Lviv that goes back to 1772 - 1918 - the times of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Still earlier than that Lviv had become a famous European center of business and commerce. Suffice it to mention the St. Georgian fairs dating back to 1659 and the Galicia contracts that go back to the second half of the XVIII century. The wealthiest German, Hungarian, Armenian, Turkish and Tartar merchants came to the biggest Lviv fairs.

In July 2005 the trade name “LEMBERG” first became known in the city of Lviv. The first in the city «Â+» business center – the business center “LEMBERG” was opened under this trade name. The office building was created on the basis of OJSC “Prykarpatpromarmatura” fully and complexly reconstructed applying modern construction solutions and technologies. The main line of business of the business center lies in providing rental services of the offices, trade premises and warehouses, as well as a conference-hall.

Geographical location of the business center “LEMBERG” creates unique conditions for conducting business. This part of Lviv has been dynamically developing over the past few years while continuously improving the infrastructure. The district has already gained the status of a powerful commercial and business hub of Lviv.

The district and the adjacent territories can boast of:

• 2 business centers;
• hotel «Volter»;
• shopping center «Furshet»;
• 2 supermarkets of building materials;
• 8 automobile showrooms;
• industrial market;
• radio market and automobile market.

Transport connection ensures a strong passenger traffic flow from all the parts of the city and from the arterial highway Kyiv – Lviv as well as from the territories bordering on Poland.

The history of the business-center “Lemberg” is closely interwoven with another project – the exhibition center of the same name. Over 2008-2010 a number of the most notable mass events were held on the premises of the exhibition center “Lemberg”. This is the place where the leading fashion designers and stylists from Ukraine and the neighboring countries gathered at «Lviv fashion week». The exhibition center also hosted International Ecology Forum “Eco Solutions – new technologies”, which year after year united in Lviv hundreds of environmentally-aware companies and thousands of visitors who don’t want their own comfort to harm the others and damage the environment. Besides, EC «LEMBERG» hosted dozens of other business and entertainment events, like corporate meetings, exhibitions of various nature (“Farmer”, “Fashion mirror”, “Bus”, festivals of extreme sports, dog exhibitions) and concerts of famous stars: ATB, Blank & Jones, Esthetic Education, LTG Bukem. Unfortunately the exhibition center project does not function any more. The exhibition business depends not only on the success of the projects, but, as we know, at least partially on the conditions of the market. Upon analyzing the aims, guidelines and perspectives of the exhibition business in Ukraine in general and in its Western region in particular, in summer 2010 the investors of the exhibition center “LEMBERG” made a strategic decision to lease the exhibition premises on a long term basis.

As a result now no exhibitions, forums, meetings, concerts, parties or any other public events are going to be held here, in spite of the fact that the city has felt the need of the premises of a proper level for all these kinds of events for many years.

Though there is no decent substitute for the exhibition center “LEMBERG” in the city at the moment, we can assume that the project of a similar kind will appear in the nearest future. We hope that the experience of holding dozens of successful events on our premises will give a sufficient stimulus for that. We are certain that they became a great contribution into the cultural, business and entertainment development of our native city.
