Dr. Peter DeLuca is in his 14th season with the Eagles and his eighth as the head team physician. The 48-year old DeLuca (born 11/23/59) is also an orthopaedic consultant for the Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia Phantoms (AHL). He is also a sports medicine specialist with the Rothman Institute at Jefferson and sees patients at their NovaCare office in South Philadelphia along with their office in Marlton, NJ.

DeLuca currently serves as a member of the North American Arthroscopy Association and has lectured locally and nationally on sports related injuries. He was awarded the Philip Syng Physick Award for Research and was elected to the National Medical Honor Society.

A native of Jersey City, NJ, DeLuca received a degree in biology from St. Peter's College in 1981 and then went on to earn his M.D. at Georgetown in 1986. He then underwent postgraduate training and residencies at both Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and Yale University Hospital.

DeLuca and his wife, Renee, reside in Cherry Hill, NJ, with their son, Sam, and daughter, Natalie.

Dorshimer is in his 12th year as an internist with the Eagles. Dorshimer, 54, is currently on the medical staff at Pennsylvania Hospital. He practices general internal medicine and sports medicine as part of Delancey Medical Associates. He serves as the program director for the Primary Care/Sports Medicine Fellowship program of the University of Pennsylvania Health System.

Dorshimer, a member of the NFL Physicians Society and at-large representative to the executive committee of the society from 2003-07, is also a team physician for the Flyers (NHL), Phantoms (AHL), and Kixx (MISL). The secretary and treasurer of the NHL Team Physicians Society since 1987, he also served as an internal medicine consultant for the NHL players at the 1998 and 2002 Olympics. He serves as a consulting internist for the Pennsylvania Ballet. He is a member of the advisory committee to the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Society. He was the NFL Physicians Society representative to the NATA Consensus Conference on Sickle Cell Trait in Athletes in 2006. Currently, he is serving as the Co-Chair for the 2009 NFL Physicians Society/AOSSM Symposium on Sports Medicine in Football, to be held May 2009

Born in Allentown, PA, he went on to receive a B.S. in natural science with summa cum laude honors from Muhlenberg College in 1977 and an M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981. He is a member of both Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha academic societies. He completed his postgraduate training at Pennsylvania Hospital and was certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1984. In 1995, he earned a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine from that board and was recertified in 2005.

Dorshimer lives in Drexel Hill, PA, with his wife, Deborah, and their son, Geoffrey.

Dr. Paul Marchetto is in his ninth season as the Eagles team orthopedist. Marchetto is an associate professor of orthopedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He serves as the head team physician for Rutgers University, Camden, New Jersey, and has served as the assistant team orthopedist for the Philadelphia Flyers and Phantoms.

Marchetto completed his orthopedic residency training at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and his fellowship in sports medicine at Temple University Hospital. He has co-authored numerous research articles on sports medicine topics and lectures nationally and internationally. In addition to his practice at the Rothman Institute at Jefferson, he remains very active in the education of physicians, medical students, athletic trainers, and physical therapists.

Marchetto and his wife, Jean Marie, reside in Villanova, PA, with their two daughters, Dana and Nicole.

Frank Brady is in his sixth season as the team's chiropractor. Brady graduated with a doctorate in chiropractic from Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic in 1994. Since that time, he has worked in private practice at the Greater Philadelphia Chiropractic Center in Northeast Philadelphia. He also has a second location in Fort Washington, PA.

Brady is an active member in the PFCS (Professional Football Chiropractic Society) and is also affiliated with various local, state, and national chiropractic associations.

He also serves as the team chiropractor for the Philadelphia Soul (AFL) and the Philadelphia Blue Flame, the semi-pro team for the Philadelphia Police and Fire Departments. He also treats many local head golf professionals as well as members of the PGA tour.

Frank and his wife, Lisa, reside in Huntingdon Valley, PA, with their children, Samantha, Frankie, and Nicholas.

Dr. Alexander Vaccaro is in his ninth season as the Eagles Spine physician. He is a Professor and Attending surgeon of Orthopedics and Neurosurgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital as well as the Vice Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics at the Rothman Institute at Jefferson.

Vaccaro also serves as a Spine consultant for the Philadelphia Flyers and the Philadelphia 76ers. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University and his spine fellowship at the University of San Diego. Vaccaro has also earned a PhD in Spinal Trauma.

In addition to treating patients, Vaccaro is affiliated with numerous orthopedic and spine societies and leads the spinal research team at the Rothman Institute at Jefferson.

Vaccaro resides in Gladwyne, PA with his two children Alex and Julianna.

Dr. Matthew Pepe is in his third season as the Eagles team orthopedist. Pepe is an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

He also serves as the team physician for St. Augustine High School and Stockton College. Pepe completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and his fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Pittsburgh.

He is affiliated with the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine as well as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Pepe resides in Linwood, NJ with his wife, Carolyn, and their three children, Matthew, Christian and Catherine.

Dr. Dodson Sports Medicine surgeon at Rothman Institute. He is an assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University and specializes in sports related injuries of the shoulder, elbow and knee.

His clinical interests include shoulder instability, ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff tears, and elbow injuries in overhead athletes. He serves as an assistant team physician for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Flyers and as an orthopaedic consultant for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
