  • Sat., Jun. 14, 2014 2:30PM CDT Jerry Parins Cruise for Cancer

    The eleventh annual Jerry Parins Cruise for Cancer motorcycle ride will be held, rain or shine, on Saturday, June 14, 2014. The ride will start at Vandervest Harley-Davidson (1966 Velp Avenue, Green Bay) and will make a fun-filled stop at the Seymour Fireman's Picnic, held at the Outagamie County Fairgrounds in Seymour.

    Ride Day Schedule

    • 9-10:30 am: Registration at Vandervest Harley-Davidson, Geen Bay
    • 11 am: Depart Vandervest Harley-Davidson, Green Bay
    • 12 pm: Arrive in Seymour. Enjoy food, beverages, entertainment and a short program.
    • 2:30 pm: Party kicks off at the new South Endzone Festival Foods MVP Deck at Lambeau Field! Guests can access the space by way of the Shopko Gate. See the field and enjoy the atmosphere from this beautiful indoor/outdoor space newly opened and accessed by very few. The party will include silent and live auction, food, beverages, music and merchandise available for purchase.

  • Tue., Jun. 17, 2014 11:30AM CDT Practice (Minicamp)

    Packers minicamp will be open to the public on Tuesday, June 17th, weather permitting. The camp concludes the offseason program.

    The three-day mandatory minicamp will be at Ray Nitschke Field, with practices on Tuesday and Thursday, both at 11:30 a.m., open to the public. Wednesday’s practice will be closed to the public.

    The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Inc. announced that it will induct former Packers players Ahman Green and Ken Ruettgers at the 44th Hall of Fame Induction Banquet, to be held Saturday, July 19, 2014, in the Lambeau Field Atrium. Eddie Lacy will be honored with the Hall’s ‘Rookie of the Year’ award, presented by Ariens.

  • Thu., Jul. 24, 2014 11:00AM CDT Shareholders Meeting

    The Green Bay Packers 2014 Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held Thursday, July 24, at 11 a.m., at Lambeau Field. The meeting will take place rain or shine.

  • Fri., Jul. 25, 2014 6:00PM CDT Packers 1K Kids Run

    Back to Football also includes the 1K Kids Run, presented by WPS Health Insurance. Kids 10 years old and younger will have the opportunity to run a Lambeau Lap on Friday, July 25, at 6 p.m. Registration for the Kids Run is $10 and all participants will receive a Packers 1K Run t-shirt, a logoed bag and a participant medal.

Green Bay Packers Coaching School

On Sunday, June 8, 2014, the Packers will host their first annual Green Bay Packers Coaching School at the team's practice facility in Green Bay.  The complimentary event in Green Bay offers youth coaches innovative classroom and on-the-field football instruction from top local high school and youth coaches. Beyond the Xs and Os, attendees will be taught techniques to ensure that their youngsters have fun playing the game they love while developing their character through football's intrinsic values of teamwork, responsibility and discipline.

 

Packers Youth Football Outreach Camp

The Green Bay Packers Youth Football Outreach Camp is a complimentary, grassroots program, which features educational benefits as well as recreational opportunities for kids in a safe and fun environment.  The camp is designed for 2nd through 5th graders only.  

Youth Football Outreach Camps are coordinated in conjunction with the NFL Play 60 Program.  The NFL PLAY 60 campaign is designed to tackle childhood obesity by getting kids active through in-school, afterschool, and team-based programs.

Packers Youth Football Summer Camps

Comprehensive, non-contact football instruction that includes visits from former Packers players is available to kids 6-14 throughout Wisconsin this summer at the Green Bay Packers “Youth Football Camps.” This year, the camps have also added first-round competitions for the “NFL Punt, Pass & Kick program.”

Running back Ahman Green, linebacker Bryce Paup, wide receiver Bill Schroeder, linebacker John Anderson and defensive back Johnnie Gray are among the former Packers players that will participate by offering supplemental instruction at the camps, which aim to develop young players’ ability on the field and character off.

Each of the 10 camps lasts five days from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and they will be held from mid-June until late-July. The daily practices will develop athletic skills, including individual passing, receiving and non-contact blocking and tackling drills.

High School Player Development

In 2014, Wisconsin HSPD camps will be held at Green Bay Packers Don Hutson Center (June 14-15), Wisconsin Lutheran College (June 16-17) and Chippewa Falls High School (June 18-19). Thirty-six HSPD participants, 12 from each location, who display a combination of hard work and sportsmanship, will be selected to an HSPD all-star team to compete in the Green Bay Packers 7-on-7 Regional Tournament on Saturday, June 21.

Green Bay Packers 7-on-7 Passing Tournament

On Saturday, June 21, 2014, the Green Bay Packers will host their sixth annual 7-on-7 Regional Tournament. Eight teams will be invited to the Don Hutson Center, located across from Lambeau Field, to compete in a passing tournament for a chance to advance to the NFL 7-on-7 National Tournament as representatives of the Green Bay Packers. The national tournament will be held July 13-16, 2014, at the Indianapolis Colts practice facility. In order to be eligible each player must participate in a character development and life skills session that takes place prior to the start of the regional tournament.

 

NFL 7-on-7 National Tournament

The Green Bay Packers have been selected to participate in the 2014 NFL 7-on-7 National Tournament. The tournament will be held in Indianapolis, IN, hosted by the Indianapolis Colts on July 13-16. All 32 NFL team competed for the NFL's 7-on-7 National Championship. The non-contact tournament is comprised of high school aged student athletes.

USA Football

USA Football is an independent non-profit organization whose purpose is to galvanize, support and promote the sport at all levels of amateur football. The first national advocacy group created for this purpose, USA Football was launched in 2002 and received initial funding from the National Football League and the NFL Players Association, through the NFL Youth Football Fund. The activities of USA Football generally focus on the following: building coalitions, advocating positions and causes, identifying best practices and standards, aggregating resources, and promoting the sport. Player Safety Coaches Clinic

On Saturday, June 28, 2014, the Packers will be hosting a USA Football's Player Safety Coach Clinic.  These training sessions are the most important step in becoming a Heads Up Football organization. Here, your nominated Player Safety Coach spends a full day training with USA Football to prepare him or her to implement and oversee the elements of Heads Up Football.

In the classroom, attendees listen to lectures and watch high-quality videos. They will be asked to demonstrate and participate in hands-on learning, work in small groups and role play. The clinic also features on field drill presentations, question and answer sessions and evaluations.

USA Football Month

In conjunction with the NFL and USA football, the Packers celebrate the annual USA Football Month to encourage kids to play America's favorite sport. During Family Night and the second preseason home game, the Packers invite Wisconsin youth football teams to scrimmage on the field during halftime. Before the second preseason home game, the youth teams join the pros on the field for the National Anthem.

NFL Punt, Pass & Kick

Every year, millions of boys and girls from around the country take part in the Punt, Pass & Kick skills competition. The competition, which has been around since the 1960's, is FREE and open to boys and girls ages 8-15. Each year the Green Bay Packers play host to the Team Championship level of competition taking place later this year. Get a chance to participate in a passing exhibition held on Lambeau Field before a regular season home game!

NFL Grassroots

The Green Bay Packers are excited to give schools and neighborhood non-profit organizations in Green Bay, La Crosse, Madison, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Racine and Sheboygan the opportunity to apply for an NFL Grassroots grant.

Through this program, the NFL Foundation will award NFL Grassroots field grants up to $200,000 for capital improvement projects. The 2013 NFL Grassroots RFP submission deadline is February 14, 2014.

The National Football League Foundation (NFL Foundation) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and safety of sports, youth football and the communities in which we live.  The NFL Foundation represents the 32 NFL clubs and supports the health and safety of athletes, youth football and the communities which support our game.

Since 1998, the Fields Program has awarded $35 million in grants for 273 projects in more than 70 cities nationwide.

In order to be eligible for a grant under the Program, projects must be sponsored by non-profit community-based organizations registered as exempt from Federal Income Tax under Internal Revenue Service Code Section 501(c)(3) or middle or high schools. In addition, all organizations applying for funds must be located specifically and exclusively within NFL Target Markets, listed in Attachment A and serve low to moderate-income areas within those markets.

Coach of the Week

The Green Bay Packers Coach of the Week program supports youth football efforts by giving high school coaches the recognition they deserve. On a weekly basis, for ten weeks throughout the high school football season, the Green Bay Packers will select one high school coach as the Coach of the Week. Each honoree will be awarded several items and privileges, including a $1,000 donation to the school's football program on behalf of the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin National Guard, as well as recognition of the award in one of the Packers Game Day programs.

Nominations can be submitted to coachoftheweek@packers.com. Please include the name of the coach, school/team name, school location and why the coach is being nominated for the Coach of the Week award.
