Job Description:
Support digital media group in all social media efforts and initiatives by primarily handling day-to-day content creation, management and monitoring of Facebook and Twitter for team and cheerleading squad accounts. Also, support the content strategy and management of team and cheerleader accounts on Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Google+ and other new platforms.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Produce content for all social media outlets- including, but not limited to, players/coaches/cheerleaders content, Jets promotional events, community events, gameday and sponsor campaigns
- Work with partnership group to approve/post/measure any sponsor-integrated content
- Compile analytics and build recaps for all Jets social campaigns
- Track the Jets weekly growth on Facebook, Twitter and other social platforms
- Monitor and interact with fans on Facebook and Twitter
- Assist in push notifications via the app
- Support the launch and fulfillment of all sweepstakes and surprise & delight activations via digital media (newyorkjets.com and all social channels)
- Assist in the execution and delivery of the team’s enewsletter
- Support the development of reports and trafficking for newyorkjets.com web banner inventory
Gameday Responsibilities:
- Post/Tweet team content, promotional messaging and sponsored content
- Monitor Facebook and Twitter (Home games from the stadium and away, remotely)
- Assist in push notifications via the app
- Select and push tweets to in-stadium digital assets to enhance fan experience
- Execute surprise & delight fan engagement activations via social media
Requirements:
- Recent college graduate
- Degree in communications, media or marketing is a plus
- Strong communication and writing skills a must
- Photoshop, Final Cut, Excel, PowerPoint strongly recommended
- Strong understanding of social metrics
- Prior experience with ad serving software/program

Job Description:
The main role of the Help Desk Support Seasonal Intern is to ensure that all employee’s IT related problems are addressed and rectified. This role requires helping users with a wide range of IT tasks throughout a typical day. It also entails recommending and administering upgrades, repairs, and enhancements to the various computers, devices, and software. When necessary, this position will require you to assist other members of the department in their daily operations, as well as learning to perform their duties as to lessen the workload on the other department members.
Responsibilities:
- Act as first responder as users encounter problems with any Information Technology-related task, usually dealing with local workstations, printers, mobile devices (smartphones), and network shares.
- Prepare computers for employees, including setting up new computers, clearing data off previously used computers and preparing them for use by another user.
- Contact appropriate 3rd party vendors for part replacements and/or make appointments repairs by a technician.
- Clean workstations of malicious software, such as viruses, spyware.
- Perform research on unresolved issues relating to all aspects of the department.
- Install applications and educate employees in software and hardware specific to their job.
- Lifting and transporting of equipment of various weight and bulk.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Available to work 40 hours per week including some nights and weekends
- Working knowledge of Windows 7, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, TCP/IP
- Knowledge of computer hardware, including printers, routers and switches

Responsibilities include:
- Writing stories for newyorkjets.com on all phases of the Jets' camp experience
- Features on players
- Reporting on activities at practice
- Writing stories on such related activities as Flight Crew
- Press releases issued by the team
- Audio and video work to set up the streaming and archiving of the head coach's daily news conference
Requirements include:
- Recent college graduate with a degree in Communications or something similar
- Experience writing for a newspaper or Website (school newspaper, local newspaper, fan site, team Website, league Website) covering sports or related activities
- Experience in using Word and Excel
- Be able to transcribe interviews from audio, write stories/blogs under daily soft deadlines
- Familiarity with audio and video recording and Internet streaming are all helpful
- Will need to learn how to maneuver in our CMS system for posting stories on the Website
