  • Feast Your Eyes On Cover And EXCLUSIVE Excerpt From Margaret Stohl's 'Idols'
  • 'Beautiful Player' Audiobook EXCLUSIVE: Let's Get Hot And Sweaty!
  • Peep The EXCLUSIVE Book Trailer For Marie Lu's 'Champion'

At first, this EXCLUSIVE clip from soon-to-be-released movie "How I Live Now" looks like just another cozy camping scene in the English countryside...even if there is a semi-automatic weapon lying on the floor beside the sleeping children in their ramshackle blanket fort. But don't get too comfortable, y'all: As one of the recently wakened kids peeks out the door in the cold morning light, SHIZZ GOES CRAZY. And crazy it will remain, because this is just a wee taste of the action and excitement in store when this film hits theaters next Friday!

Based on the novel by Meg Rosoff, "How I Live Now" stars Saoirse Ronan as Daisy, a teen who's reluctantly left the U.S. to spend her summer vacation with distant family in a remote English village. But just when she's starting to enjoy her idyllic retreat to the countryside, the getaway goes from dream vacation to bullet-riddled nightmare, as a massive global war suddenly breaks out and turns friendly old England into a very dangerous place for an American girl. With disastrous consequences guaranteed if she's discovered, Daisy is forced to run and hide, and to put her trust in the few people who are willing to keep her safe.

The third and final book in the "Divergent" trilogy is officially hitting shelves tomorrow—which means, among other things, that Theo James will finally find out if his character gets killed off and then resurrected as a sexy ghost, as he has so confidently predicted. (Seriously, what is that about? Does he know something we don't?!)

But with millions of fans having fallen in love with the dark, violent, mysterious world of "Divergent," and with this last book promising to reveal the secrets of the fractured society that forms the series' dystopian backbone, Theo's hardly the only one to be theorizing about what awaits Tris and Four in the final installment of the trilogy. And with less than 24 hours to go until we can bury our faces in the pages "Allegiant," now is the time to place your bets about what's gonna happen.

The end of "Insurgent" left us with a lot of questions, and their answers are anything but sure: who, or what, lurks in the no-man's-land beyond the ruins of Chicago? How will the war between the factions and Factionless ever be resolved? Will Tris' recklessness spell her undoing? Will Four's past come back to haunt him once again? Will Tris and Four finally consummate their love in true Dauntless fashion, preferably in a naked tryst atop the dilapidated Ferris wheel?

Lucy Hale might be trying to solve several soon-to-be-unraveled mysteries on "Pretty Little Liars," but she's also hoping to dominate the charts in the real world in the very near future. The actress is prepping the release of her long-simmering country album. That is once she wraps up filming the newest batch of episodes for her ABC Family series.

"It's done; it's been done for a while. I just have to wait until the show's done for me to promote it," she revealed to Hollywood Crush about the status of the release. "The show wraps November 1 and I leave November 2 for a radio tour to promote the single."

And, for those wondering just how country her album will sound, the Memphis native admits that her album is pretty twangy. "Yeah, it's pretty country! I mean if you guys [at MTV] want to play it, I'm not gonna be mad," she joked. "But, no, it's pretty straight country, which is where my heart is, my heart lies."

What happens when the grim, eerie world of Night Vale collides with the fabulous adventures of one Magnus Bane? GREAT THINGS, you guys. Today marks the release of "The Fall of the Hotel Dumort", the latest installment of the Bane Chronicles series detailing the life and times of the most magnificent warlock of the "Mortal Instruments" universe; and narrating novella number 7 is none other than Cecil Baldwin, otherwise best known as the beautiful baritone who delivers us the Night Vale podcast bimonthly. Which means that whatever Bane is up to at Hotel Dumort in the seedy NYC of the 1970s, he's going to sound fabulous doing it.

And in honor of the hotly-anticipated seventh story from Bane's illustrious past, we've got two delightful exclusives to put in your earholes: an interview between Cecil and co-author Maureen Johnson, and a first listen to an excerpt from the audiobook.

Mindy Kaling is back on the market! Well, at least her small-screen alter-ego on “The Mindy Project” is. After her break-up with Pastor Casey last week, Dr. Lahiri finds herself single in the city once again, and Mindy is pretty excited about exploring all those possibilities and love interests.

“We wanted to mix things up,” Mindy told MTV News, noting that Anders Holm, who plays Casey, also had to get back to his day job on “Workaholics.”

“I hope the fans are upset [they broke up]. One thing I think is kind of cool about the show is even if people like Danny and Mindy, or they want to write about that, people get very attached to the boyfriends,” she said. “It kind of was good because nobody wants to see a girl who is in love and dating a handsome guy for episode after episode. That’s not very likeable.”

If you've ever wondered what it would look like for MTV News guy Josh Horowitz to straddle "A.C.O.D." star Adam Scott, well, you're in luck (and really weird). The actor is the guest on this week's After Hours, appearing in the segment "Up Close," in which interviewer and interviewee appear in uncomfortable proximity, while discussing more than a few awkward topics.

You'll only know just how bizarre things gets by clicking on the clip above! (Though don't say we didn't warn you...)

In case you were wondering, yes, there are "Angels in the Outfield." This, according to "Don Jon" actor Tony Danza, who along with co-star and director Joseph Gordon-Levitt kindly appeared on our latest After Hours episode, "The Yes/No Show."

Other tidbits you'll learn during the quick clip: JGL does not like being called "jiggle," Tony is contractually obligated to be named "Tony" in at least half of his films, and Joe totally understood "Inception."

We're just one sleep away from the big season-five premiere of "The Vampire Diaries," and, well, it'll be a miracle if we get any shut-eye because we're just that excited. After all, there are big changes in store for our favorite Mystic Falls residents—or should we say, former residents? Elena and Caroline are kissing their town good-bye to give higher learning a go at Whitmore College, while those dastardly Originals are heading down to the Big Easy to reclaim their throne in New Orleans. (Better hire someone to update that population sign, council.)

Given all of this upheaval, what exactly, then, can we expect from the premiere episode? We posed that question to stars Kat Graham and Candice Accola recently, and they offered up a few interesting tidbits. We won't spoil the video above, but suffice it to say refrigerators, bangs and shirtless boys are involved. Just watch.

If you've ever wondered where your favorite YA writers go to work their mysterious, literary, bookmaking wonders, then you'll want to pay attention to this here video, in which we take an exclusive behind-the-scenes trip to the secret underground lair of bestselling author Kami Garcia. (Disclaimer: Lair may be neither an actual secret nor underground...or particularly lair-like, for that matter.)

Her new book, "Unbreakable," is on shelves today, and in honor of its release, the author invited us to peek inside the place where she makes the magic—the magic in this case being a brand new thriller about a girl being hunted by angry ghosts!

For a woman so adept at bringing us inside dark, creepy worlds—whether it's the edge-of-your-seat mayhem that surrounds "Unbreakable" and its ghost-hunting squad, or the ramshackle gothic glamour of "Beautiful Creatures," the series she wrote with pal Margaret Stohl—Kami keeps her writing space tidy, comfortable and surprisingly devoid of cobwebs and/or ectoplasmic drippings. (Unless they're all hidden in that suspicious-looking bag. You know the one.)
