Language of communication among the people:
The official language on the territory of Ukraine is Ukrainian for communication, but amongst most people to talk to the Russian language.

Currency:
The national currency is the "Hryvnia". Denominations are of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 hryvnia. In Kiev, given a large number of banks, ATMs and currency exchange. Today, almost all the hotels, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes can pay for goods or services with cards MasterCard, Visa, American Express. Airports:
The main airport is located in Boryspil, Kyiv region. The distance from the center of Kiev to the international airport "Borispol" is approximately 35-40 kilometers. From the airport to Kiev can be reached by taxi or bus special "Flight", which leaves every 20 minutes and sent to the final stop at the Central Station.
At 8 km from the center of Kiev is the airport "Kiev-Zhulyany." From the airport you can easily reach the city center by taxi, bus or trolley.

Transportation:
In the city the population work such as modes of transport - underground metro, buses, trams, trains, cable car, shuttle vehicles and taxis. Municipal Transportation serves the population and visitors from 6-00 am to 12-00 am and on holidays transport operations extended.

Water:
Not recommended to use tap water, without cleaning it (boiling). Best option is to buy water in stores or supermarkets. In Kiev, there are a large number of artesian wells in which the water is safe to drink without boiling and is free.

Drinking alcohol and smoking:
Throughout Ukraine in force "law banning smoking, drinking alcohol on the robot, and in public places." Smoking is permitted in designated areas, and alcohol to mask the younger generation.
