On Thursday, February 13 at 11:00 Ukrainian News Agency’s press centre is hosted a PRESS CLUB meeting about the NBU’s exchange rate moves: how will the regulator’s attempts to keep hold of the hryvnia on the real sector?

The event will take place at the initiative of the non-government organisation Financial Development League with support of Dzerkalo Tyzhnia Ukraine weekly.

Questions for discussion:

• How will the real sector and the banking system be affected by the NBU’s steps to restrict forex transactions, widening access to refinancing, lowering provisioning norms and so on?
• Trends of the currency and deposit markets – what the population and business to expect further?

Form of the event: press club, discussion among the participants and answers to journalists’ questions

Rules: participants speak for 5-7 minutes, then discussion among the participants and answers to journalists’ questions for 40 minutes, duration not more than 90 minutes.
