About ROSHEN Fountain
ROSHEN Fountain is the only one in Ukraine and the
largest floating fountain in Europe, built in the river Southern Buh in Vinnitsa City
near Festivalny Isle (Campa Isle).
On the 4th of September 2011 the grand opening of the
ROSHEN Fountain, a unique light and music fountain, took place on the quay of the
Southern Buh in Vinnitsa in the presence of tens of thousands of
people.
ROSHEN Fountain in Vinnitsa it is springs of water
rising up in the sky accompanied with light and laser effects and video projection on a
large water screen. Due to its characteristics ROSHEN Fountain is the largest fountain in
Europe, and according to the expert’s conclusion it is in the top ten of the most
spectacular fountains in the world. The height of the central spring reaches 65-70
metres, the projection screen dimension is around 16 metres height and 45 metres width,
the frontal water dispersion constitutes 140 metres.
The majority of the fountain systems are installed in the artificial water basins with water treatment system, the unique character of the Roshen project is in the use of the “live” river water. For the fountain show we use super powerful LED lights allowing to apply very bright and showy backlighting resulting in various picturesque effects. Despite other fountains in Ukraine, ROSHEN Fountain has moving particles reaching verticity due to which the water spring angle is changing dynamically. The sound power of the audio system is 3840 Wt. One more unique characteristics of the fountain is its “hibernating technology”, due to which the fountain equipment is sunk under the water ice on the bottom of the Southern Buh during winter periods.
The Fountain constitutes a part of the complex reconstruction project of the Southern Buh quay near ROSHEN Vinnitsa Confectionery Factory. In the framework of the project the 700 meter water front was embanked, a pedestrian zone and a leisure area were constructed, a street lighting system was installed, and an amphitheatre was built for hosting spectators of the fountain shows. To install the fountain equipment the riverbed of the Southern Buh was cleared in the volume of 28000 cubic meters. In the history of Ukraine this project is the first of such a scale implemented on the private company costs.
On the 22nd of April 2012 the festive launch of the ROSHEN Fountain in the new season was held and a new show programme was presented. By the opening period three additional laser systems were installed, allowing to apply more special effects and to vary the show programme tremendously.

Since now Vinnitsa citizens and tourists could enjoy
the fountain light-music performance every day. On Monday, Thursday and Sunday “Elves’s”
show is demonstrated, on Tuesday and Friday - “Music Story” show, on Wednesday and
Saturday - “Roboshen” show.
