One of the Kyiv's most highly anticipated outdoor events – Chamber's Annual Charitable American Independence Day Picnic once again gathered friends of America on July 6 at Spartak Stadium.
Close to 6000 people got together to spend a beautiful Saturday with their family and friends while enjoying traditional Picnic-style food, refreshing drinks and live performances of well-known singers and bands including Duck and Cover as well as Alex Mochanov and CountryAnApolice who brought true summer vibes to the celebration. Thanks to Picnic's Gold Sponsor Lavina Concert guests had a chance to enjoy the performance of the event headliner – fiery GORCHITZA who spiced up the atmosphere and people just could not help dancing.
The interactive Kids Zone sponsored by Primary Sponsor DANONE kept the little ones entertained with carnival rides, a bouncy castle, trampolines, and interactive games as well as some special surprises. The weather was perfect both for the active infield contests led by Sergey Velichanskiy, the host of the Picnic, and for rolling out Picnic blankets and relaxing on the green grass with refreshing drinks provided by Picnic's Soft Drinks and Beer Sponsors Coca-Cola Ukraine and Carlsberg Ukraine.
After a thrilling performance of the national anthems of Ukraine and the United States the sky above the stadium was illuminated by a spectacular fireworks display sponsored by Winner Imports Ukraine ending yet another excellent Picnic. The organizers are already planning even more excitement for July 2014 so stay tuned!
