On October, 25th, 2013 the conference “Court practice of the Supreme Court of Ukraine regarding civil, criminal, commercial and administrative matters” was held in the meeting room of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of Ukraine. Konnov & Sozanovsky managing partner Alexey Ivanov took part in the event.

On October 10th, Konnov & Sozanovsky managing partner, participated in lively show “Public reception” on “Kiev” TV-channel. On request of the editorial office, A. Ivanov told the viewers about implementing mediation practices.

On October, 4th, 2013, a roundtable “Alternative dispute resolution in financial sector” was held. The event was organized by the World Bank and International Financial Corporation. Alexey Ivanov, Konnov & Sozanovsky managing partner, attorney, mediator, took part in the roundtable.

First Law International legal network expanded the number of its members to 65 firms that represent over 60 countries. Now, geography of FLI coverage includes Turkey and Spain. Konnov & Sozanovsky is an exclusive FLI member for Ukraine.

On September 11th, 2013, a meeting of the Club of mediation practices within the Ukrainian Mediation Center (Kiev-Mohyla Business School) was held. The meeting gathered representatives of the Ukrainian Mediation Center Galina Yeremenko and Vladimir Marukhevich, Konnov & Sozanovsky managing partner Alexey Ivanov, Sayenko Kharenko counsel Svetlana Kheda, Paritet partner Elena Tkachenko, and managing partner of S. K. O. Forum Elena Sapozhkova. The process of accepting new members became the main agenda topic.
 

Always happy to have guests! Yesterday, on July 30th, a meeting of marketing, PR specialists and consultants of the Ukrainian legal market took place in Konnov & Sozanovsky office.

On July 26th, 2013, Konnov & Sozanovsky associates gave energy saving light bulbs for recycling. Our “contribution” was received by the Rescue service in Kiev (26A Zhilianskaya St.). By the way, this service also accepts used batteries. According to Vladimir Ivanovich Didenko, head of the Rescue service, over half a ton is sent for recycling to Lvov “Argentum” plant. 

Ukrainian magazine “Gvardiya” published a ranking of the law firms-2013. Konnov & Sozanovsky is among top-10 law firms in the spheres of insurance, telecommunication and IT. Besides, the firm is mentioned in the rankings of the best firms in banking, agrarian business, real estate and energy sector.

Konnov & Sozanovsky is mentioned in the ranking of the Ukrainian newspaper Kyiv Post. The ranking is conducted on the base of assessments by the representatives of legal market. 

On July 2nd, 2013, at the Ukrainian Mediation Center (Kiev-Mohyla Business School) the Club of mediation practices was created. The aim of the Club is to unite the efforts of mediators-lawyers and to introduce mediation practices in the usual activity of the law firm. Alexey Ivanov, Konnov & Sozanovsky managing partner, was one of the initiators to create such a Club.

Yesterday, on June 13th, 2013, batteries collected by Konnov & Sozanovsky associates were given to the receiving point located in Kiev, 26 Kikvidze St. 84 batteries were passed to the activists of the public movement for recycling.

Doing Business 2013, the report of The World Bank and International Finance Corporation, was published. Konnov & Sozanovsky representatives – senior lawyer Alexey Pokotylo and lawyer Mikhail Pergamenshik – participated in preparation of the rank providing information regarding leading business in Ukraine.

On June 10th, 2013, first meeting of the Ethic commission of the Ukrainian Bar Association took place in Konnov & Sozanovsky office. The main task of the meeting was election of the commission head. As a result of the voting, Sergei Kozyakov was elected the head of the commission.

Julia Semeniy, Konnov & Sozanovsky partner, head of intellectual property practice, is in the list of “TOP-100 best lawyers of Ukraine” formed by “Yuridicheskaya gazeta” newspaper. The results of the research “Clients’ choice 2012-2013” were published, and soon all the finalists will be awarded with special personal certificates.

For the first time, Ukrainian Bar Association elected members of the Ethic council. Konnov & Sozanovsky managing partner Alexey Ivanov became one of the members, as well as Grischenko & Partners founding partner Dmitri Grischenko, Sergei Kozyakov & Partners partner Sergei Kozyakov, Legal Alliance senior partner Illya Kostin and Asters senior partner Armen Khachaturyan.
