The president of Publishing and consulting corporation "Factor"
Sergiy Polituchiy was born on March, 14th, 1954 in Atkarsk city of Saratov region (Russia).
In 1971 after the graduation of secondary school he entered Saratov aviation technical college.
From 1972 till 1974 he was serving in military forces of air defence of Far East military district as the radar-location chief of station.
He graduated from Saratov polytechnical college on a speciality " Economy and the organization of construction ". During the study he was Leninite scholar and has finished the college excellently.
He was engaged in public work: was a chairman of trade-union committee of faculty, a chairman of student's commitee, actively went in for sports. He is a candidate master in track and field athletics.
After the graduation from the institute in 1980 he moved to Kharkov where he began the labour activity at the position of senior economist in "Kharkovgaz".
In 1981 he has been transfered out to the Department of housing and communal services of Kharkov regional executive committee where he had been working till 1989 in a post of work organization department chief. These years were actively was engaged in public work. He was a chairman of trade-union committee of Department, a member of regional committee of trade union, the chapter of a revision committee of the Central Committee of trade union.
In January, 1989 he has finished correspondence postgraduate study in Moscow institute of management named after S.Ordzhonikidze, and received a scientific degree of Cand.Econ.Sci.
From the end of 1989 till 1991 he held the post of vice director on economy of Kharkov branch of the Joint Soviet-American enterprise "New information technologies".
In 1991 he has created and headed Company "Research-and-production enterprise "Factor".
Today the enterprise has grown into the Publishing and consulting corporation "Factor", that consists of the largest in region polygraphic enterprise, well-known in Ukraine publishing house and auditor firm and other enterprises and the organizations with a number of personnel above 1500 persons.
In 2001 he became the deputy of Kharkov city council where he has head the constant operating commission concerning scheduling, budget and finance, fraction of the majority in the City Council - "Unified Kharkov".
From 2004 till 2006 he was the First assistant of Kharkov mayor concerning activity of agencies of the City Council.
Today the president of "Factor" Sergey Polituchy is the adviser of the governor Kharkov on social and economic questions, the President of "Rotary club Kharkov-city".
For the contribution to progress of entrepreneurial business was rewarded with the distinction of the Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of commerce «Skifskaya pektoral».
Has a scientific degree of Cand.Econ.Sci., the auditor certificate.
Married, has two children.
