Private Joint Stock Company «First Ukrainian bureau of credit histories» was founded in 2005 by the banking system of Ukraine with support of The National Bank, Ministry of Finance and the World Bank as a national organization for lowering the risks of lending in the financial market of Ukraine.
«First Ukrainian bureau of credit histories» was the first bureau of credit histories that received a license from the Ukrainian Ministry of Jurisdiction for conducting activities related to gathering, processing, preserving and using information that makes up the credit history.
Among the shareholders of the bureau there are 33 banks, 1 insurance company, 1 leasing company and an international company Creditinfo Group. As of January 2013, out of 175 banks registered in Ukraine, 115 are partners of the bureau. Presence of the lending leaders among the partner banks and trust from the customers make perfect conditions for increasing the database of the bureau. The partners' share on the lending market is approximately 75%.
