GfK Ukraine is the largest market research company in Ukraine. GfK Ukraine is a member of the worldwide GfK Group – one of the largest market research companies in the world. Our main goal is to provide our clients, regardless of their markets and sectors – with the high-quality knowledge they need to make strategic decisions.

GfK Ukraine employs more than 170 specialists, working in various areas (sociology, psychology, economics, as well as marketing, statistics, programming and mathematics). GfK Ukraine’s researchers successfully combine expert knowledge on their client sectors with experience in applying the most advanced research techniques.  This approach allows our specialists to find effective solutions to the most challenging issues faced by our clients.

Our history

1995 – "Ukrainian Surveys & Market Research – USM” was founded as an independent private market research agency

1998 – FESSEL-GfK integrates USM into its Group

1999 – Launching of Ukraine’s first Household Panel (ConsumerScan)

2001 – Launching CAPI for the first time in Ukraine. Launching CATI studio

2002 – GfK-USM won a tender on a TAM panel

2003 – Establishment and launch of TAM panel

2004 – Launching GfK’s Retail & Technology Panel in Ukraine

2006 – GfK-USM renamed to GfK Ukraine; GfK Ukraine won a tender on a TAM panel for 2008-2012]

2008 – Launching on-line panel

2010 – GfK Ukraine successfully conducted its first ever Ukrainian exit poll at Presidential election 2010 (ordered by ICTV)

2011 – GfK Ukraine won a tender on Radio Listening Measurement for 2012-2014. Prolongation of the TAM panel contract for 2012-2013

GfK Ukraine provides market research services in accordance with the ESOMAR Codes and Guidelines, and the Marketing Research Quality Standards of the Ukrainian Marketing Association.
