Reservation:

Car reservation is possible in several ways:

• By phone, you can just contact the rental location in the city of interest. Reservations can be made by phone during operation hours, but not less than 3 hours before rental.
• Through booking form on our website. Booking is possible 24/7 but not less than 24 hours before rental.

Hertz (hereinafter referred as Lessor) only confirms the car group*, not the particular brand or model. But Hertz staff will do their best to satisfy the wishes of the Customer (hereinafter referred as Lessee).

Age Restrictions:

• The minimum age for the Lessee shall be:
• Car Groups B, C, K, I, J, N, Q - 25 years, is possible from 21 with Young Driver surcharge.
• Car Group M- 25 years

Driving license:

The lessee must present a valid driver's license in Ukraine*, with follow category for rental and with the driving experience not less than

• 2 years for car groups B, C, K, I, J, N, Q
• 3 years for car group M

*For all foreign renters an International Driving Permit (IDP) is highly recommended.

Fuel

All cars are supplied with full tank of gasoline provided by Hertz. If a car is returned with less than a full tank, the Renter will be charged for a refilling service of €2.4 per liter**.

** calculation of the missing fuel carried by authorized employees of the Lessor, according to internal standards.

Driving outside of Ukraine

Driving outside of Ukraine is allowed only for chauffer drive service.

Rates:

• The minimum rental period is 24 hours and it begins from pick-up time.
• When you Pick-up the car: If the Lessee will be late for more then 2 hours from booking time, Lessor has right to refuse a client to provide car for previously agreed conditions.
• When you return the car, If Lessee return car later then 59 minutes from mentioned time in rental agreement the rate can be calculated with additional day, as daily rate.

The basic rate includes:

• Full service the vehicle
• Insurance according to current legislation of Ukraine
• Seasonal tires
• VAT
• Delivery OR Collection the car
• Unlimited mileage

Additional services:

• Delivery / collection the car within the city in official representation of the Lessor, is € 24 (including VAT)
• Delivery / collection the car into the city, where there is no official representative of Lessor, shall be agreed individually and can range from € 50 to € 200 (including VAT)
• Returning the car in another city (One way fee) is € 150-200 (including VAT)
• Pick-up/returning the car out off hours (operating hours can be found here) is €24 (including VAT)
• Airport fee is €18 and will be charged in case of pick-up the car in any of Ukrainian airport locations.
• Additional driver is possible for € 8 per day (including VAT), but can not exceed € 60 per rental for each driver.
• Young driver is € 6 (including VAT) per day, and can increases the deposit amount for 20%
• Car with a driver

Additional equipment:

The cost of additional equipment is:

• GPS-navigation - € 12 per day (including VAT), but can not exceed € 60 (including VAT) per rental
• Child car seat - € 12 per night (including VAT), but can not exceed € 60 (including VAT) per rental
• Portable DVD-system - € 12 per night (including VAT), but can not exceed € 60 (including VAT) per rental
• CD - € 2 per night (including VAT), but not more than € 10 (including VAT) per rental

Forms of Payment:

Acceptable forms of payment are:

• By credit card with payment systems*** American Express, Visa (excluding Visa Electron), MasterCard (excluding Maestro).
• By bank transfer (request for details)
• Using pre-payment voucher from authorized partners

*** For vehicles group M Lessor can request an additional card class not less than Gold.

With any form of payment for the rental period it will be also blocked the deposit amount (maximum client’s responsibility in case of damage or theft of the car).

For different groups the deposit varies from € 600 to € 1500.

Limitation of liability for damage (CDW)

CDW - is not insurance, it is a limitation of liability of Lessee in case of an accident or the occurrence of any accident.

Maximum liability of Lessee in case of damage can not be more then:

• € 600 (including VAT) for cars of groups B, C, K
• € 1,200 (including VAT) for groups I, J, N
• € 1,500 (including VAT) for groups M, Q

This service is obligatory and can not be rejected by the Lessee.

Limitation of Liability for theft (TP)

TP - is not insurance, it is a limitation of liability of Lessee in case of theft of the vehicle. Maximum liability of Lessee in case of theft and or its parts can not be more then:

• € 600 (including VAT) for the car groups B, C, K
• € 1,200 (including VAT) for groups I, J, N
• € 1,500 (including VAT) for groups M, Q

This service is obligatory and can not be rejected by the Lessee.

In case of theft, damage of the car or its parts except for some cases **** that goes beyond the insurance contract and listed in the rental agreement.

**** Exceptions of insurance for rental car use:

• for any illegal purpose or activity
• providing a tow or pushing of any other vehicle
• participation in races, trials, competitions or driving training
• moving on the roads unpaved, deep pools of water
• continued operation of the vehicle in the event of any mechanical defect
• operation of the car, which cut down its value and exceeds the normal wear
• outside the borders of Ukraine without written permission
• a driver who is under the influence of alcohol, narcotic, psychotropic or other intoxicating substances, medicinal preparations, using of which is prohibited drive vehicles
• without the valid driver’s license with the relevant category.
• to leave the car open.
• security system not locked
• to leave removable panel car radio, GPS navigation, baby car seat, portable DVD player or any other portable equipment and personal belongings inside the car
• to left technical passport and other documents giving the right to drive a vehicle inside a car

Charges for damage of the car or its parts, accessories:

In the case of charges or any other penalties for traffic violation authorized by road police, by Lessee during the rental period, the Lessor has a right to charge Lessee for the follow amount during the period up to 90 days after the end of the rental.

In calculating the compensation for any damage Lessor is guided by market value, however, can rely on the internal matrix of the cost of damage.

The Lessee accepts the terms and conditions of the rental in full value and confirms it by his signature.
