It is with great pleasure that we finally publicly announce, after a lot of hard work, that iHUB, Ukraine’s first of its kind business incubator for IT and ICT early stage startup companies has opened its doors! iHUB stands for Innovation Hub, where the best IT and ICT startup companies from all around Ukraine will receive all the needed resources, services, support and network that is needed to start a business absolutely from scratch! We are now open for applications, and we will do our utmost to make sure that we personally meet with every startup team who are interested to know more about us, who we are, what we do and most importantly how we can help Ukraine’s brightest minds and young aspiring future entrepreneurs to succeed in business! We will dedicate all the time that is needed to get to know each and every one of you personally, to assess where you are in terms of your business planning and company development from technical and business side, and together will be see if we are a good match. It was great to have so many prominent people joining us at such an important for us day. Some of our iHUB friends who attended the opening ceremony were Mr. Yuriy Yahonurov, ex Prime-Minister of Ukraine, Mr. Vladimir Agrizko ex Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Mr. Torkel Ystgaard Vice President of SIVA, Mr. Sergei Skripchenko President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Steinar Korsmo President and CEO of Seed Forum International Foundation, Mr. Alexander Loktionov Chairman of Seed Forum Russia Foundation and Mr. Dimitri Podoliev Chairman of Seed Forum Ukraine Foundation and Managing Partner at iHUB. The official opening ceremony took place early in the morning prior to the start of the Seed Forum Kiev conference that same day, which was also dedicated to the launch of iHUB and focused on the subject of incubators, accelerators and support to startup companies as it is being done in a number of foreign countries. We had some 200 guests attending our conference this time around, so there was a lot of interest from the Ukrainian startup community.
