GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
KPMG is seeking a Security Senior Engineer who will be a part of the security team and who is proficient in all aspects of security engineering and administration with a strong and diverse infrastructure, systems and applications background. The candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, solid understanding of networking, client/server security and design concepts, a strong of Internet and intranet architectures and security.
The candidate will perform the day-to-day operations of the in-place security solutions as well as the identification, investigation and resolution of security breaches detected by systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor security systems to ensure they are operating according to corporate information security policies;
- Prepare the periodical reporting of monitoring activities, security incidents and security breaches;
- Assist in the evaluation, design, integration, and maintenance of security systems and services;
- Provides assistance in computer incident investigations;
- Develop documentation for process and procedure;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in information technology with at least three (3) years in security administration;
- Understanding of common security protocols such as Kerberos, RADIUS, RSA, SSL, TLS, SSH, IPSec, S/MIME and SFTP;
- In-Depth knowledge of TCP/IP addressing and standards including network design, application security, content filtering, firewall configuration, remote access, encryption, access control, strong authentication, vulnerability scanning, VPN;
- Solid understanding of security infrastructure components as well as application vulnerabilities and countermeasures;
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Engineer (MCSE) or other appropriate credential is required;
- CISSP, GIAC or equivalent certifications are preferred.
