AstapovLawyers has a new partner and team on Intellectual Property

AstapovLawyers International Law Group has a new partner Natalia Meshcheriakova and a team of four professionals to boost IP practice. Previously Ms Meshcheriakova and the joining team were part of DD&I IP, the first Ukrainian firm specializing in IP Due Diligence. Natalia Meshcheriakova, former senior partner of DD&I IP, will lead the department as head of IP with a team of lawyers, IP experts, analysts, economists and appraisers.

The new IP Department will advise on a wide range of topics including trademark rights, brand names, protection of know-how, laws relating to designs, databanks, patents, software, copyrights, unfair competition, related rights and IP litigation. Particular attention will be paid to all matters related to IP, media, merchandising and advertising, film (financing) and the music industry, as well as advise on legal questions surrounding the Internet, IT and software development.
